Byron Scott says the Lakers used to be about winning, culture and family under the Buss family, but now the organization feels more transactional. Personally, I think this is a good shift. You can still build a winning culture without running the organization like a mom-and-pop shop. The Buss family's time had run its course, and this change was necessary for the Lakers to continue being the great organization they've always been. Jason Timpf says there's a MASSIVE offensive gap between Luka and Tatum, and he's right. When the playoffs slow down and you need a bucket, Luka is the best scorer in the league and can create a great look every trip. Tatum's "defense" doesn't move me. He's an average defender and has never made an All-Defensive team. That's nowhere near enough to make up for the gap offensively. (🎥: Hoops Tonight)
