At the start of this year, I declared that by the end of 2024, I would be the owner of an African food store. After experiencing setbacks with bad investors last year, I promised God that I would achieve this goal. During the Hallelujah Challenge, where we dressed like our miracles, I wore a suit and displayed food items from my home , dancing around my table as if I were selling to customers. That night, God responded and transformed my situation—my testimony was fulfilled in less than 72 hours, what I have wanted for four years was answered in just three days. Oh God here I am to worship, here I am to bow down !!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 GOD CHANGED MY NAME TO BE CALLED KING, OWNER, LEADER, EMPLOYER, MOTIVATION 🙌🙌🙌🙌 till my last day it’s only him !!! My amazing circle of friends! Three weeks ago, I opened my African food store in Sheffield. Two weeks ago, my friend iG: eminencebyGtx launched an African food store in Manchester. Last week, my buddy Ademola introduced the @nextbud_ social app in London. Just five days ago, another friend launched his travel agency, Arinkatravel, in Lincoln with great flair. Today, yet another friend announced the opening of her Amala hotspot restaurant in Sheffield in just a few days. Later this month, another friend will also launch his African business store in Sheffield! We all started from different places, but my belief is in surrounding myself with like-minded people. Dear friends, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your wishes, prayers, and support since I announced the opening of my store. The launch party was wonderful, with many attendees expressing their commitment to support local businesses. I heard comments like, “I saw your post on Twitter, and there have been referrals too,” which truly means a lot to me. I am dedicated to not only hosting quality events that celebrate African culture but also providing African food products that resonate with us, creating a sense of home away from home. One of the highlights of the launch party was the visit from Ruth McDonald, the Race Equality Commissioner from Sheffield City Council. She shared her joy in seeing another black business thrive in Sheffield. Regarding our ongoing business relationship, she promised to support our TRADEFAIR events and connect various black-owned businesses in Sheffield with my store. She also mentioned how I can serve as a communication channel to support new black businesses in the community, particularly within the Nigerian community. I am incredibly excited about these upcoming projects in 2025!
