Mahavira lived in the same period as Siddhartha Gautama. Like him, he also belonged to the higher Kshatriya (ruling) class. I wonder if European pagans know that everything they know about India is from secondary sources like Christians and Muslims, who have added their own biases into it to vindicate the majority of Indian culture similer to what abramics religions did with most eurpeoan religions.
