Dear Dhanya Rajendran You claimed that Jalsa glorifies Naxalism. That conclusion reflects either a complete misunderstanding of the film or a selective reading of a few isolated scenes. If you don’t understand Telugu or the narrative context, consult someone who does before making sweeping claims. The film does not glorify Naxalism. It portrays the journey of a young man who is drawn into extremism, experiences its consequences, and ultimately abandons that path to return to normal civilian life. That transformation is the very heart of the story. Cherry-picking a handful of scenes while ignoring the overall narrative to fit a predetermined conclusion is not criticism but a selective interpretation. Ironically, it is that selective blindness, not the film itself, that is distorting the discussion.
