Have you ever felt a big difference in "aiming feel" between two mice, that you couldn't fully justify w/ just the shape or DPI deviation? THIS might be the reason. You might not be accounting for how the sensor position relative to your wrist differs between the two. But on FMM, you can now convert your sensitivity across games AND mice! I've explained before that when I got my original world records in 2020/2021 for static aiming, I thought that a lower sensor position on some mice was a big reason for it, as I could have lower-sensitivity micro corrections while maintaining a higher cm/360 for the large arm swipes. I've also explained it before when analyzing Donk's grip here: The difference can be MASSIVE. Assuming you grip the GPX2 and ATK F1 Extreme the same way, here's an example (taken straight from the converter) of how large the difference is (check the video!). 3.7@800 dpi in OW2 w/ the F1 feels the same as 3.33@800 dpi on the GPX2 X2 when using your wrist. If you want to maintain a CONSISTENT wrist feel, then you need to adjust the sensitivity around this when changing mice. The cm/360 WILL differ, so your arm sensitivity, which we can consider to be purely "translational", will be different, but I think that most of what we "feel" is actually how the mouse responds to wrist movements when flicking or micro correcting. Let me know what y'all think and if you find this useful! The feature might be a bit complex at first, but hopefully it's understandable. BONUS POINT, I also added a little table that highlights if your given sens in-game at your DPI will incur in pixel skipping, so you can decide to increase DPI at your resolution/sensitivity, which I've also talked about many times before. Stay tuned as I have a ton more cool stuff coming for FMM!

because pros, intuitively, understand that anisotropic filtering means adding unnecessary visual clutter and making it harder to spot enemies when they are close to detailed walls/floors at an angle it's not because "pros don't know any better lmao placebo"

Do you tend to always use the same cm/360 across games? Now on FMM you can save your favorite cm/360 values and easily convert them to a game sensitivity in one click! Try it out: Also, check out the new Journal feature... but I'll post more about it in the next few days!

CS2 BEFORE - AVG 875.7 - 1% 292.8 CS2 AFTER - AVG 918.6 (+4.8%) - 1% 328.7 (+12.2%) This is a follow up to this post: Windows 25H2 26200.6584 fresh install w/ 7.11.26.2142 Chipset Drivers (just released) on a 7800x3d with PBO SVM on, IOMMU on (realistic settings for someone playing competitively on FaceIT or playing VALORANT) For some reason people think I did not test or that I made up the numbers? Not sure what incentive I'd have to lie, but here's me showing a 4.8% increase in avg fps and and a 12.2% increase in 1% lows in CS2 by not using Core 0/1 and changing the heterogeneous short running thread policy to "All Processors". Again, I think the reason for this is Core 0/1 contention and the way the semantics of "Performant" vs "Efficient" are defined in the presence of PBO. No cuts in the video because for some reason people actually think I trying to deceive them (again - why?) so you can see there's no editing magic lmao. Again I want to reiterate I AM NOT selling anything. I will refuse any and all requests to do any optimization or consultation or anything else of the sort. This stuff has 0 interest to me as a business opportunity. I am solely curious about how it works for my own interest and to get more performance. If you have reason to believe my conclusion is wrong, then that's good! Just share it so we can figure out WHY this phenomenon exists. I don't work for AMD or Microsoft so why would I care? If there's a simpler way to have the same performance I'm all for it.

I know it's not meta but for some reason I am really enjoying low sens (69cm) in OW. Fast 50x50 pad + 37g mouse + low sens feels so nice and easy. mini clip dump, learning the heroes, I have ~30hrs in OW so far (12hrs years ago, 18hrs last two weeks). It's fun!

Congrats to EloShapes.com on their launch! On a similar note, is out of beta and available to the public. A lot of you have been asking me what my plan is now that EloShapes is also doing 3D scans... the answer is: nothing changed! I think that competition is good. I'm a mouse nerd and a LONG TIME EloShapes user, so the more options I get as a user, the better. I really think that my vision and EloShapes, though, is fundamentally different. I've had the domain for FMM for years, I have a much larger platform in mind compared to what I built so far. The 3D scans are the necessary step for my vision, not the end goal: they never were. I am also very proud of the fact that I've been able to scan at least 5 mice in full color EVERY DAY with my own pipeline, and I think I will easily have almost full coverage of the mice people would want on the website within months. Check the video for the mice I've added in just the last few days, all textured. Apart from some of the features I've mentioned before (like the virtual hand/grip), FMM is meant to be kind of a "MyAnimeList" for mice, so that you can share your profile, like this: and then later on leverage this curated list of mice you build for yourself to be shown even more mice you might like. FMM is also a tool for reviewers and anyone that wants to share their opinions on mice. Links like this: allow you to easily share your specific points about a mouse via the annotations, viewpoint sharing and measurements. And of course, as I've said since the beginning, I will use FMM to centralize all my hard testing about sensors, dpi, and such, so that you'll be able to find EVERYTHING about a mouse, including the raw results of my standardized sensor implementation testing. So, with this said, I will keep scanning as many mice as possible and adding as many features as possible until FMM becomes what I envisioned so long ago. Join my discord if you want to keep up! I hope you'll all give it a try! Ciao!

v0.5.0 of 50% to release! improved rendering a LOT, nuances in the shape are WAY easier to see now. adding ~30 people a day from the waitlist btw trying to make sure ALL the MUST HAVE mice are in the v1.0, any specific one y'all feel is NEEDED?

Hi Mark -TheWhale- W. (Visionary, Developer) Since you decided to tag me about your "world record" to flex on me (?), and I got that same monitor today, here's me breaking your "world record" on one gen older hardware that I did NOT need to steal from Emil Christensen. Please stop tagging me on your LLM slop and stop believing everything sycophantic LLM's tell you. Also, while you're at it, please stop scamming people, that would be nice. Also, since you claimed I was faking my numbers and I "stole them from a reddit post", here's a 4k video with no cuts of my camera pointing at the screen of the full thing, hitting 1116.9 avg, 362.5 P1, on a 7800x3d and 4090 (unlike your stolen 9950x3d and 5090), at the same resolution, on the same monitor as your "world record", while using normal settings (Dynamic Shadows on All, HDR on Quality, FidelityFX Disabled). I wonder if you were also using realistic settings like this in your run. Thanks, take care! P.S. I do not sell tweaks nor optimizations, I never have, I never will. If you reach out for tweaks/optimizations, I will either ignore you or redirect you to my Discord so I can help you in a public channel if I have time. Everything I did is fully public on my YouTube video or on my Discord. Remember your hard-earned money is valuable, it's a token of your time. Don't waste either money or time on scammers peddling snake oil. It's never worth it.

added a BUNCH of features and more mice to - measurement tool so you can REALLY understand a mouse shape - colored models - side-by-side - alignment by sensor position Also I am slowly granting access to more people, so request access and help us out!
