Nobody does dumbbell flyes the way Arnold Schwarzenegger did. Back then it was all about a wide movement, max pec stretch, and only a slight bend in the elbows. Now most guys have turned it into some kind of fly-press… Which is still a solid chest exercise—but it’s not the same as flyes. Arnold flyes: - maximum pec stretch, more pec isolation - very minimal triceps involvement - lighter load, higher reps Fly-press: - less stretch than true flyes - triceps gets in, less pec isolation - heavier load can be used safely

Little ego and strength testing from my boy Chris. Triple with 120kg on incline, 30kg up in 7 months while on little deficit/maintenance doing recomp. Maybe not the cleanest but not bad for a natural lifter.

Maybe not the cleanest, but still a new PR: 275 lbs × 2, starting from zero just 8 months ago. Pawel has dropped 115 lbs so far while steadily getting stronger and fitter. ‘You can’t get stronger on a deficit naturally.’ Yes, you can. No GLP-1s, no TRT (for now). Just hard, consistent work.
