The Israeli Knesset just approved the extension of the law allowing indefinite detention of Gazans without charges or legal representation; this means the Drs Abu Salfiya and Mohammed Obeid and dozens of other Doctors - including vital specialists - will continue to be held and most likely tortured according to the testimony of all of those released, alongside thousands of other Palestinians. LOOK AT THIS; the audience at our 20th screening of #GazaDoctorsUnderAttack this one in Glasgow. All the medics in this room know medics who’ve been killed in Gaza, all of them are heroes. Thousands of engaged people - medics and non medics have now gone to see this film in the cinema and listen to both Drs who’ve been in Gaza and the film makers discuss why and how it was made. When we were told 2 months ago it wouldn’t run as a film but be reduced into a small number of tiny clips we were shocked and stunned, gutted. But it’s just made what’s happening more notorious, more outrageous, more important. You can fool some people sometimes, but you can’t fool all the people all the time.
