লক্ষ্মীপুরের রায়পুরে মা ও দুই মেয়েকে কুপিয়ে হত্যার ঘটনায় আহত মেজো মেয়ে নাফিজা আক্তার ইকরাও মারা গেছে। এ নিয়ে মা শাহিনুর বেগম ও তিন মেয়ের মৃত্যু হলো। পরিবারে শুধু বেঁচে আছে ইকরার একমাত্র ভাই জুনায়েদ। শাহিনুর বেগমের বাড়ি কুমিল্লা জেলায়। তারা বেশ কয়েক বছর ধরে রায়পুরের ওই বাসায় ভাড়া আছেন। তার বড় মেয়ে সায়মা আক্তার আদমজী ক্যান্টনমেন্ট কলেজ থেকে এইচএসসি পাস করেছেন। তিনি বর্তমানে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থী ছিলেন। মেজো মেয়ে নাফিজা আক্তার ইকরা রায়পুর সরকারি মার্চেন্টস একাডেমি থেকে এসএসসির ফলপ্রত্যাশী ছিল। একই প্রতিষ্ঠানের চতুর্থ শ্রেণির ছাত্রী ছিল ছোট মেয়ে শিফা আক্তার। আর একমাত্র ছেলে জুনায়েদ ইসলাম রায়পুর সরকারি কলেজে দ্বাদশ শ্রেণিতে পড়ার পাশাপাশি একটি দোকানে কাজ করছেন। পুলিশ ও স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা যায়, শাহিনুরের স্বামী মো. কামাল হোসেন ২০১৯ সালে উপজেলার মোল্লারহাট এলাকায় রাস্তায় পড়ে থাকা তারে বিদ্যুৎস্পৃষ্ট হয়ে মারা যান। তিনি গ্রামে ঘুরে ঘুরে হাঁড়ি-পাতিল বিক্রি করতেন। স্বামীর মৃত্যুর পর থেকে তিন মেয়ে ও এক ছেলেকে নিয়ে ভাড়া বাসায় থাকতেন শাহিনুর। অভিযুক্ত ওই যুবক নোয়াখালীর বাসিন্দা হলেও রায়পুরে ভ্যানে করে ফল বিক্রি করতেন। তবে কেন হত্যাকাণ্ড ঘটিয়েছেন, তা এখনও নিশ্চিতভাবে জানাতে পারেনি পুলিশ। এদিকে তাদের কুপিয়ে হত্যার পর গণপিটুনির শিকার হন অভিযুক্ত যুবক অন্তর মজুমদার ফল বিক্রেতা। আহত অবস্থায় তাকে দুপুরে ঢাকায় নেওয়ার পথে মারা যান। #Dhaka #Bangladesh
