President Paul Kagame was initially invited to the National Prayer Breakfast by the National Prayer Breakfast Foundation but was later uninvited due to his actions in the #DRC. Instead, he sent his wife in his place. We anticipate that President Kagame will continue to hide behind his wife when engaging with the U.S. for the foreseeable future. Rwanda in USA

House Republicans (House Republicans) have instructed us to keep them actively informed regarding election integrity concerns, as well as allegations that certain senior officials within the current Nigerian government may be complicit in violence and targeted attacks against #Christian communities in Northern Nigeria. Nigeria is a sovereign nation. However, President Donald J. Trump and Congressional Republicans have made clear that they will not remain passive in the face of widespread reports of violence against Christian populations, nor ignore circumstances in which the current Nigerian government appears unwilling or unable to protect its citizens while potentially circumventing the will of the electorate to retain power. Additionally, a circulating video, the authenticity and full context of which remain under review, of Nigerian President #Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, (Femi Gbajabiamila), allegedly inciting disruption of Nigerian opposition party (African Democratic Congress) activities, is concerning, particularly as the alleged disruption is reportedly being cited by Nigeria’s electoral authorities (INEC Nigeria) as justification for invalidating opposition party leadership. This raises further concerns regarding potential electoral interference. There are also claims that Mr. Gbajabiamila holds U.S. citizenship and that his alleged statements could be construed as incitement affecting U.S. interests. Donald J. Good afternoon. This is Dr. Von Batten. I spoke to the amazing Chairman Rep. John James this afternoon. The Department of State refusal to release the Tigray Genocide Report is unconscionable. I am grateful to the Chairman for bringing up Tigray during the hearing. Republican leadership is needed to get the Biden President Donald J. Trump Administration to do the right thing. The Biden Administration has bent over backward to prevent any serious action against Office of the Prime Minister - Ethiopia for the massacre of over 600,000 men, women, and children in Tigray by troops loyal to Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali 🇪🇹. You will know your true friends by those who stand beside you in your hour of sorrow. As Proverbs 17:17 reminds us, “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.” And Proverbs 18:24 teaches that while unreliable friends lead to ruin, “there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Today, President Félix Tshisekedi Présidence RDC 🇨🇩 and the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo have shown themselves to be such friends. At a moment when America, and especially Black America, mourns the passing of one of our own, the great civil rights giant Rev Jesse Jackson Sr, President #Tshisekedi and the people of Congo showed up. They stood with us. They offered their shoulders for us to lean on as we grieve. Acts of friendship in times of adversity are never forgotten. The United States will remember your kindness. Black America will remember. Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) will remember. The American people thank the people of Congo. True friends reveal themselves in moments like these and Congo has shown itself to be one. President Paul Kagame is a paper tiger—a weak man who speaks boldly before the subjugated citizens of Rwanda. In reality, however, his representatives walk around DC, cap in hand, begging for aid in his name. We have a message for President Kagame: We urge you to never threaten the United States or our allies. This firm will not stand for it. Come to DC. Sign the Peace Agreement, and then go away. We stand with all the pro-democracy Rwandans seeking freedom. If you are looking to hire a lobbying firm to advocate for true democracy in Rwanda, please email [email protected]

The reported attempt by the current Bola Ahmed Tinubu Nigerian government to disrupt the electoral process of the opposition party, the African Democratic Congress (African Democratic Congress), has failed. The Nigerian Supreme Court has upheld the rule of law and affirmed the leadership of Senator David Mark. Dr. Von Batten will brief key members of Congress tomorrow, and today’s ruling will be discussed. We remain concerned by the video referenced below, which reportedly shows the Nigerian President’s Chief of Staff (Femi Gbajabiamila), reportedly a U.S. citizen, encouraging and signaling efforts by the current government to interfere with the lawful political process of an opposition party. We are reviewing whether this conduct, along with related actions, may implicate provisions of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the Logan Act (18 U.S.C. § 953). U.S. citizens are legally bound by U.S. law, even while serving in a foreign government’s cabinet or staff. We invite individuals with direct knowledge or credible documentation to submit records or witness testimony regarding any alleged complicity in the murder of Nigerian citizens in Northern Nigeria, or efforts to undermine the integrity of the upcoming Nigerian election. Submissions should be detailed, verifiable, and, where possible, supported by documentary evidence. All information will be handled with appropriate discretion. Please send materials to [email protected] for review and appropriate follow-up. This is Dr. Von Batten. The United States, as always, must take the lead, and I will again make this very clear to members of Congress on Monday. We cannot rely on the United Nations, the #EU, or the African Union to ensure that the rule of law is observed on the African continent, especially when the subject matter is tied to the interests and national security of the United States. I repeat: Rwanda's President Paul Kagame's actions in the #DRC are a clear and present danger to the United States. To quote Therese Kayikwamba Wagner, the DRC's foreign minister, who has tirelessly sounded the alarm: "Our message to the world is that the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is being illegally occupied. This is the clear result of decades of Impunity and not holding President #Kagame accountable for his flagrant violation of international law."

As expected, President Paul Kagame and his associates are lying to members of Congress about the reality on the ground in the #DRC. As renowned Canadian journalist Judi Rever alluded to in the video below, President Paul Kagame represents one of the biggest deceptions of modern times. We will reach out to Senator Lindsey Graham to set the record straight: the DRC did not attack M23, and nothing Kagame says can be trusted. In fact, we invite Senator Lindsey Graham to engage with the good people at the DRC Embassy, Embassy of The Democratic Republic of Congo in USA, and to lead a U.S. delegation to visit the DRC. The atrocities committed by Kagame’s #M23 would shock members of Congress to tears. Donald J. President Donald J. Trump is a win-win president. It is time to elevate US-#DRC relations to new heights, fostering a partnership built on mutual respect and equality among the partners—one that creates wealth and a higher standard of living for all Congolese.

There is no merit to any claim that President Felix Tshisekedi - UDPS Présidence RDC 🇨🇩 is looking to give away DRC resources to the United States. The resources of the DRC belong to the people of the DRC and to them alone. President Donald J. Trump is looking to invest in the #DRC and for the US to trade with the DRC on an equal basis. Beware of those seeking to disrupt the proposed deal. There are individuals looking for bags of money as bribes and those who aim to stone everything. These are the enemies of the Congo. The US-DRC deal will be transparent and will benefit the people of the DRC. Stand with President Donald J. Trump. The time has come to implement a type of #KPCS process for #DRC’s critical minerals—so they don’t magically “find” their way into Rwanda and get exported to the world as Made in Rwanda. Why? In the video clip below, just as he once denied any ties to M23 before eventually admitting he did, President Kagame first claims he is not stealing the DRC’s minerals—only to later concede that he is, in fact, doing exactly that. In his defense, the stolen minerals merely pass through Rwanda—they don’t actually stay there. The thing about President Paul Kagame is that, like every paper tiger in history, his love for grandstanding whenever a microphone or television camera is in front of him inevitably leads to slip-ups—moments where he accidentally reveals the truth.
