It seems that, regardless of political leaning, there is a growing consensus that the Nigerian government and its leader, Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (Bola Ahmed Tinubu), represent a bastion of corruption. Shocking as it may seem, President #Tinubu appointed an individual who, according to the U.S. Department of Justice (U.S. Department of Justice), embezzled billions from Nigeria’s treasury during a previous Nigerian administration, to serve as Nigeria’s current minister in charge of the nation’s budget. This is Dr. Von Batten. I want to thank everyone at the White House, in Congress, at the State Department, and at the United States Mission to the United Nations for listening to our arguments day and night, assessing the evidence, and reaching the conclusion that Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (Bola Ahmed Tinubu) had no business meeting with President Donald J. There is no plan to arrest Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (Bola Ahmed Tinubu) over his alleged involvement in heroin smuggling if he attends the United Nations General Assembly this month. Any claim to the contrary is untrue. What is true is that President #Tinubu will be embarrassed in New York. The United Nations and The White House meeting with President Donald J. Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (Bola Ahmed Tinubu) was employed as Treasurer of Mobil Oil Nigeria Ltd. when, according to U.S. Department of Justice FBI DEA HQ records, he was alleged to have been connected to a criminal organization involved in smuggling heroin from #Nigeria into the United States. Mobil later became part of the corporate lineage of what is today ExxonMobil. Funds associated with Tinubu were seized as proceeds of drug trafficking by the DOJ, but strangely, Tinubu was allowed to leave the United States without being criminally charged. As Nigeria's President, #Tinubu’s government has maintained significant relations with ExxonMobil, including direct engagement with the company and major policy, regulatory, and investment decisions affecting its Nigerian operations. Reports show that ExxonMobil has benefited tremendously under President Tinubu through major state reforms: The Fuel Subsidy Removal: The elimination of the multi-trillion-naira fuel subsidy freed up national revenues that allowed Nigeria to pay its obligations and joint-venture cash calls to major international oil operators like ExxonMobil. The $1.28 Billion Seplat Approval: President #Tinubu's administration broke a long-standing regulatory deadlock by officially greenlighting ExxonMobil’s asset divestment to Seplat Energy, clearing the firm's capital path out of older shallow-water assets. Deepwater Tax Breaks: President #Tinubu introduced massive tax credits—up to $11.50 per barrel—enabling ExxonMobil to shift its full operational weight toward more profitable, export-heavy offshore projects. Production Pledges: Following direct meetings with the presidency, ExxonMobil has reinvested in local operations to bring an additional 40,000 barrels per day (bpd) into the Nigerian crude stream. In conclusion, President Bola Tinubu (Bola Ahmed Tinubu) is so innocent that he has spent millions making sure the documents that can prove his innocence are never released.

Aaron Greenspan explains that Nigerian President Bola Tinubu's (Bola Ahmed Tinubu) alleged role in the heroin trafficking organization, which operated from Nigeria through Chicago to #Indiana, was to launder proceeds from heroin trafficking through multiple accounts in his name. These were the funds that the U.S. Department of Justice seized. Apart from the allegations that he was part of an organization that smuggled heroin into the United States, the alleged money laundering activities would implicate 18 U.S.C. § 1956 and 18 U.S.C. § 1957. We do not yet know why #Tinubu was not criminally charged. Did he flee, make a deal with the DEA HQ, or was there another reason? Indiana is a solid #Republican state. We are working to identify all lawful avenues to ensure that the Tinubu matter is examined by the appropriate federal and state authorities. House Republicans (House Republicans) have instructed us to keep them actively informed regarding election integrity concerns, as well as allegations that certain senior officials within the current Nigerian government may be complicit in violence and targeted attacks against #Christian communities in Northern Nigeria. Nigeria is a sovereign nation. However, President Donald J. Trump and Congressional Republicans have made clear that they will not remain passive in the face of widespread reports of violence against Christian populations, nor ignore circumstances in which the current Nigerian government appears unwilling or unable to protect its citizens while potentially circumventing the will of the electorate to retain power. Additionally, a circulating video, the authenticity and full context of which remain under review, of Nigerian President #Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, (Femi Gbajabiamila), allegedly inciting disruption of Nigerian opposition party (African Democratic Congress) activities, is concerning, particularly as the alleged disruption is reportedly being cited by Nigeria’s electoral authorities (INEC Nigeria) as justification for invalidating opposition party leadership. This raises further concerns regarding potential electoral interference. The U.S. Department of Justice heroin-trafficking allegations involving Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (Bola Ahmed Tinubu) are not an American or Nigerian issue. This is a global issue. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), roughly 600,000 people die worldwide each year from drug use, with close to 80% of those deaths linked to opioids such as heroin. President Bola #Tinubu is an alleged heroin trafficker who, we believe, has spent millions of Nigerian taxpayers' hard-earned money attempting to suppress the release of DOJ documents and to win President Donald J. Trump's endorsement. All this while Nigerians suffer from a worsening economic, social, and security situation. Nigeria is too important and too great for good people to sit on the sidelines, and this is why former Vice President Atiku Abubakar instructed us to act. This is not about Western, Southern, Eastern, or Northern #Nigeria. This is about the soul, the dignity, and the future of Nigeria. The reported attempt by the current Bola Ahmed Tinubu Nigerian government to disrupt the electoral process of the opposition party, the African Democratic Congress (African Democratic Congress), has failed. The Nigerian Supreme Court has upheld the rule of law and affirmed the leadership of Senator David Mark. Dr. Von Batten will brief key members of Congress tomorrow, and today’s ruling will be discussed. We remain concerned by the video referenced below, which reportedly shows the Nigerian President’s Chief of Staff (Femi Gbajabiamila), reportedly a U.S. citizen, encouraging and signaling efforts by the current government to interfere with the lawful political process of an opposition party.
