Just over a year after #TheBeatles concert at Shea Stadium in New York on August 15 1965, they appeared there once again, 60 years ago today on August 23 1966. However 30 years later on the Anthology interviews, Ringo and George had forgotten about that second time.. #Beatles

OTD 22JAN1969 Day 13 of the ‘Get Back’ sessions at Apple Studios. This was the first to feature old friend Billy Preston, who had been invited to Apple by George Harrison. With Billy on board, the mood within the sessions was greatly improved. #Beatles #TheBeatles
