Yesterday, a gentleman said to me, "It's unbelievable that a great song like this didn't win any award. It's a shame on us as a people". I told him gently, "Come to our next concert, you'll see that it won the biggest award of all: the hearts of the people". FYI, we have 500+ tracks (40+ albums), recorded 1997-2026, available on Apple Music, Spotify, BoomPlay, YouTube Music & Amazon Music.

Baba Mimo is more that what you hear on the surface. For one, it is not a song for or about any religion. And it's a song whose message we need now, more than ever. The first clip comes from a concert held in Lagos in April 2001. The second is from a concert held in August 2026.

Of course I knew this one would be a hit, even before we recorded it. What I couldn't know was that 20 years later it'd still be one of the songs fans insist upon at our concerts. See upcoming concerts in the video. And note that Sunday is the deadline for cheaper tickets.
