⚠️ Gasmask visuals, animations & sounds are WIP/Placeholders 🎨 The gasmask HUD is also a placeholder — but trust me, it's going to be something special. I genuinely believe it'll be one of the most beautiful in the industry. ☢️ Realistic radiation system — exposure leads to stamina loss, then HP drain, potentially lethal 🎭 Gasmask filters are consumable with varying protection levels 🔇 Wearing your gasmask muffles surrounding sounds & increases stamina drain 📟 PDA tracks radiation levels & sends alerts — some are audible to nearby enemies 💊 Special meds available to clear accumulated radiation 🗺️ Some radiation zones are fixed, others spawn randomly across the map 🫁 Breathing SFX (placeholder) reacts to your heart rate & condition 🔔 We also reworked the PDA UI & made the alert system less intrusive

🗣️VOIP and Radio (Early WIP) - 3D Physic voice in game (with reverberation, Air absorbtion...) - Radio work like real life with frequency (and yes, non team member can found/join it) Later : - Modulation of voice whith gas mask, automatic detection for whisper/yell and range adjustement. - Integration with our in house audio for verticality and occlusion. Also Featuring new third person animations. Still some work to do (bug fix, making radio more comfortable/less loud/better beeps...).

As mentioned before, I have fewer things to show because I’ve been busy working on the rework of the new game mode. However, what we call “loot rooms” and “challenges” are done. Here is a demonstration with the “C4” challenge (it’s basically just about finding the C4 somewhere and blowing it up : it’s the simplest Loot Room Challenge). While I was working on explosions (everything is still WIP), we also added physics to doors when they are destroyed. -- Aherys

Need a bit of community input: We’re currently working on the melee system for PMC. Internally, we’re debating between a few options: Left click lets you perform a 3-hit combo if you spam it. Right now, if you attack from a narrow angle behind an enemy, you perform a backstab that one-shots them (similar to Dark Souls). However, we’re wondering if it might be better to replace that with a heavy attack that you can charge up using right click instead. Alternatively, we could implement both, but that would require more budget—you know how it goes. Note: Animations are still WIP, and FX haven’t been implemented yet. Context: This is also important for PvE balance.

One of our biggest challenges is lighting —managing indoor/outdoor environments with extreme contrast variations based on weather conditions. We've just released an update to AtmoStorm, our weather engine. It now delivers consistent lighting across all environments without sacrificing atmosphere, while maintaining PvP Visibility. This update also reduces Lumen noise, shadow artifacts, and much more.
