They will embrace the latter: the Antichrist, empowered by Satan, presenting himself as their deliverer. I believe we may see two dramatically different developments unfold in the same prophetic season: In Israel, the Lord will intervene and defeat the invading coalition described in Ezekiel 38-39. In Western Europe, disillusioned nations will embrace a leader who promises to replace their failing system and whose influence will extend far beyond Europe. The precise timing and political process are my understanding of how these prophecies may unfold. Scripture does not explicitly say these events will happen simultaneously or that the Antichrist will be elected. But the danger is clear: desperation can make deception look like deliverance. Israel will witness the power of the true Deliverer. The world will embrace a counterfeit. Our hope must remain in Messiah Yeshua. Know His Word. Discern the times.
