⚡ #Belarus has summoned Lithuania’s Chargé d’Affaires after the UAV launched from Lithuania crossed the Belarusian border on Nov 30 and crashed in Grodno. Debris analysis, including video and navigation data, showed the Western-made drone was preprogrammed to fly over Belarus, enter Poland, and return to its launch point in Lithuania. #Minsk calls the incident a deliberate provocation. Belarus demands: • full details on the launch and operator, • an investigation with accountability, • steps to prevent similar incidents. Belarus reserves the right to take necessary measures to protect its sovereignty.

⚡️ Belarus demands that Lithuania immediately release complete information about the incident at the Ignalina NPP and fully comply with its obligations ⚡️ Media reports a fire on 25 November at the primary radioactive waste processing facility of the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant. Yet despite existing intergovernmental agreements, cooperation between nuclear regulators, and mechanisms for prompt emergency notification, no official information has been provided by the Lithuanian side. This silence is especially cynical given Lithuania’s constant demands for “transparency” regarding the Belarusian NPP. We are witnessing classic double standards: strict accusations toward others over imaginary issues, and zero responsibility for its own actions.

#Belarus & #Poland are tracking two Ukrainian citizens suspected of terrorist acts in Poland. They entered Belarus, where searches are ongoing. If located, they will be detained. A possible transfer to Poland will be considered in line with the case’s circumstances. This work continues in the spirit of partnership and good neighborliness, even though Poland has not yet submitted a formal request for legal assistance.
