Belinda recorded a pop rock cover of "I Won't Say (I'm in Love)" in 1997, that was included on Disney's Hercules soundtrack. The song was produced by Gary Wallis and Toby Chapman. Belinda's version was released as a single exclusively in France and Germany on May 26, 1997.

"California" was released as the 4th single from Belinda's sixth studio album, A Woman and a Man on February 17, 1997. The song was a Top 40 hit in the UK and featured backing vocals by the Beach Boys' Brian Wilson. The music video was directed by Philippe Gautier.
