💔🏳️‍⚧️ Finding out Michael from #TheProudFamily was supposed to have they/them pronouns but was cut from the show is another reminder that the beautiful diversity that (Disney Creatives) keep fighting for are low priority for (Corporate Disney). 💖🏳️‍⚧️ But there is some hope… • The ‘MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE’ Revival Special introduced Kelly, Malcolm’s trans non-binary sibling played by trans non-binary actor Vaughan Murrae. • Filipino American writer and creator Mia Resella is trans non-binary and the creator and showrunner of the new upcoming Disney Jr show ‘SAM WITCH’ coming out in 2026. That’s a big deal because it directly counters the conservative political push to bar trans creatives and talent from working in family entertainment. • And it might be a long shot, but for a year Hunter Schafer has been rumored to be the frontrunner for playing Mystique in the upcoming #Xmen movies and by a miracle might get it, even though she’s clearly the perfect actress for the role. Yes, it is painfully clear that all the trans rep that has been cut are all Black/POC and from animated projects, but I'm hoping if not both Josh D'Amaro (new CEO) and Dana Walden ( First Woman Dis President) cares to fight for Diversity, at least one of them does.🙏🏾💖 🤷🏾‍♀️ I guess we’ll see the direction at #D23. #LGBTQIA #Disney Video clip by tonyturner on YouTube.

🥹🙌🏾🔥David Jonsson being cast as Prince T’Challa in BLACK PANTHER 3 makes me so happy I could cry!!! I had so many happy tears down my face watching this scene, and for such an incredibly talented and kind actor to be the new BLACK PANTHER brings me so much joy. #BlackPanther3 #BlackPanther #AvengersDoomsday #Marvel

🤔 All this negative press for Moana Live Action reeks of disingenuous motives. Yes, there's many flaws with the movie, but that's the case with most of them yet no one is complaining about TANGLED being made? Even in animation it's getting crazy, The music in FROZEN 2 wasn't great yet it wasn't hit with the negative wave MOANA 2 got. The Lion King and Lilo and Stitch live actions which both made over a $billion had tons of negative press yet Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, nor Cruella received the same response ( except when it dealt with the diverse actors in Cruella) We don’t even need to get into the immense amounts of racism Halle Bailey and and Rachel Zegler received for THE LITTLE MERMAID and SNOW WHITE. ALADDIN and JUNGLE BOOK are the only diverse live actions that weren't received with negative press and i'm starting to think it's only because they came out before the so-called culture wars or more accurately - when minorities started fighting for representation in media. Again, I'm not saying MOANA looks flawless because it does not, but the bias racism is out of control at this point.🤷🏾‍♀️ #Disney #Moana #liloandstitch #HalleBailey #RachelZegler #TheLittleMermaid #TheLionKing #Mufasa

HELLUVA BOSS (SPOILERS) !!! 🥹💖 Find yourself a man that loves you as much as #Moxxie loves #Millie. This scene of Millie realizing Moxxie loves her so much that she doesn’t have to fear losing herself as a mother might be one of the most powerful moments in the entire franchise. #Millie #Moxxie #SallieMay #HelluvaBoss #Hellaverse #HelluvaBossSeason3

Sasheer Zamata portrayal of Jennifer has been nothing short of breathtaking. I know this scene wasn’t about white feminism but seeing a Black Witch take her power back from a White Witch who carelessly ruin her life felt incredibly powerful. #AgathaAllAlong #AgathaAllAlongBash

At a time in our country where Trump has ICE putting so many innocent Latinos in concentration camps and ripping apart families… Having Bad Bunny someone who has opposed Trump openly doing the Super Bowl halftime show is such a powerful amazing statement. #AppleMusicHalftime @NFL@AppleMusic@RocNation @SNFonNBC@nbc@peacock

😭🙌🏾💖 Y’all don’t understand how big this PRINCESS TIANA Live Action Movie is about to be!!! This is finally the respect and support for the Legacy of one of Disneys most beloved Princess in the world never given the respect she deserved. My Picks • Coco Jones • Ryan Destiny • Lovie Simone • Ayo Edebiri 🥹💖🫂 Thank you Colman Domingo from the bottom of my heart I can’t even express the fullness of my joy. I knew Disney having a woman president could change things, but this is beyond more than I could’ve imagined but definitely everything that I’ve wanted. I was so heartbroken when she wasn’t gonna get an animated sequel and then when her show was canceled during the Bob Iger era. This feels like a new start. #Tiana #princessTiana #Princess #Disney #ForeverNetflix #Forever

🤦🏾‍♀️📈 STAN WARS are hurting ORIGINAL ANIMATION and they need to STOP!! I didn’t include this piece from my #FORGOTTENISLAND video review so it wouldn’t run too long, but I think this is a conversation that needs to be discussed. Creatives already face a massive uphill battle trying to get original animation funded, produced, and greenlit without having to deal with online fandoms flooding social media feeds with toxic hate instead of constructive criticism. Using #PussInBoots to drag #TurningRed, #KPDH to drag #Elio, and now weaponizing #TheWildRobot against #Hexed and #ForgottenIsland, while simultaneously pitting both of them against each other, is destructive to the entire animation community. When fandoms actively root against one another, it severely fractures the box office recovery, keeping original films from ever reaching the historic opening weekend heights of legacy hits like: • #DreamWorks' Kung Fu Panda ($60M) • #Pixar's Coco ($72M 5-day Thanksgiving opening) • #Disney Animation's Zootopia ($73M) • #Illumination's The Secret Life of Pets ($104M) And though it’s super hard for all original animation projects, when they feature diverse characters and cultural stories, they are forced to fight an unsupportive studio system while simultaneously battling deeply rooted systemic prejudices—including racism, misogyny, transphobia, homophobia, and ableism. It’s fucking exhausting and this shit needs to stop. It’s called the animation community, and it needs to feel more like one. 🫶🏾💖 #SupportOriginalAnimation #BoxOffice #Animation #Wildwood #Steps

😱🔥💖💜 #FORGOTTENISLAND is one of the most incredible films I have ever seen, It lives up to the hype, and it’s hands-down, one of the best films of the year!!! Seeing all the beautiful Filipino culture and groundbreaking animation brought tears to my eyes. My MVP - #JO Amazing actress, and singer H.E.R give one of the best performances of the year animation or live action. But the friendship between Jo, #Raissa ( Liza Soberano) and #Raww (Dave Franco) Is what truly makes this film magic. And I will keep saying this - 💥🙏🏾PLEASE GO OUT AND SUPPORT THIS MOVIE AND TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!!! #SupportOriginalAnimation #Dreamworks

🙌🏾💖 I love all films, but Original Animation is the beating heart of my love for cinema, and Im I'm so excited for these upcoming projects: 🩷 • Disney Animation's 'HEXED' Nov 25 💜 • DreamWorks 'FORGOTTEN ISLAND' Sep 25 💚 • Laika's 'WILDWOOD' Oct 23 All 3 have incredible female characters, amazing female villains, and fantastic new worlds. But it’s so incredibly frustrating when the animation community screams to the top of the mountains for originals only to bash them—especially the diverse projects.🤦🏾‍♀️ Regardless, Im super excited for all 3 and cannot wait to see them in theaters. 🍿🥤 Video edited by me. #Hexed #ForgottenIsland #Wildwood #Disney #Dreamworks #Laika

Emmy Award Winner Quinta Brunson set to play the iconic BETTY BOOP in a new film made in collaboration with the creator's grandson!!! Betty Boop is one of my favorite past characters from old Hollywood and Quinta Brunson perfectly capsulate her bubbly and sparkly personality. I already know this casting is going to be met with immense amount of racism and pushback, but you would think after 100 years of black face and whitewashing in cinema conservatives would see the hypocrisy in they’re outrage but I guess that’s asking too of white America. Betty Boop has also been recently played by Tony-nominated actress Jasmine Amy Rogers on Broadway in ‘BOOP! The Musical’, becoming the first Black woman to officially portray the Iconic character on stage. With the creators family involved I’m super excited and I hope Disney Searchlight Pictures picks it up for award season. #BettyBoop #AbbottElementary #Disney #Broadway #SearchlightPictures
