I’ll never forget Brent Venables rolling us after practice one day my senior year. It was the closest I ever got to quitting football lol. I’ve always told myself that if I was the LB coach one day, I would pass it on. & within my first two weeks, one of the LBs got too many parking tickets. So, the legacy continues. Had to set the tone early. What’s the worst punishment or conditioning you’ve been put through? Don’t worry, I won’t steal your ideas…👀

Still very early & a lot of ball to be played but folks are SLEEPING on Wade Woodaz. - A true 6’3.5 - 235 lbs. - 34” arms - Will run 4.5 easy - Will jump out the gym. 35+” vertical without even warming up. - Has played Sam, Mike & Will. So you know he has the football IQ to know all 3 positions as well as everyone else’s role. You’re not taking him off the field. - Converted Safety so you know he has ball skills. 4 INT. 1 of which was to the crib. - Played in 40 career games. 20+ TFL & 8 Sacks. Can easily rush the passer. - Team leader. What he says, goes. If it looks and reads like a 1st round draft pick…it’s probably a 1st round pick. NFL scouts know the kid is a dude. Bookmark it.

I have been blessed to play in some very loud football games. Imagine real quick: You are shoulder to shoulder with someone, your mouth is right up to their ear, and you are screaming at the top of your lungs. And they can barely hear you. In my opinion, the loudest was Clemson vs. Louisville 2016. #5 vs. #3. Notre Dame in 2015 is a close 2nd. I believe today’s game vs. USC has the potential to be the loudest of all time. And man am I stoked to be a part of it. Noon game smoon game, let’s burn it down baby.
