During the research for this project, Opus agents made an interesting discovery: a LIDAR scan of the aircraft carrier. On their own initiative, they realized that in 2024, Washington State DNR did an aerial LIDAR survey... which included Puget Sound. "Could this LIDAR data include the Nimitz?" they wondered. They investigated. Sure enough, they matched raw LIDAR point data to what could only be a huge ship. It was the Nimitz. Nimitz was alongside at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington, for a maintenance period. She happened to be under the survey aircraft's flight path, so she's in the public Geospatial data. (sources in comments) With that public-but-buried data, Opus was able to match the model to nearly-exact dimensions from the laser scan. How much other data like this is hiding in plain sight?

Very strange behavior in Claude Code: after specifically telling Claude to use gemini-3-flash-preview, (and even explaining that it's a new model that just came out), Claude refuses to use it, getting stuck in a loop of making non-edits which keep the old version. It gets skeptical and apparently doesn't believe that the model exists (?)

I built an AI Factory that uses Claude Code agents to build apps while I sleep. This is an automated "assembly line" pipeline, all run by Claude Opus 4.5. Projects move through a Kanban-like system from Idea to Research, Architecture, Coding and Testing. Factory workers start with market research, searching the web and social media. Then they validate everything, checking app stores for competition and securing a domain name. (All automated by APIs and MCPs) They automatically create several rounds of app UI revisions. When I wake up, there are projects waiting for me to review: approve this design, give feedback, send that one back for improvement. Projects are actively coded and tested by the agents, while the entire process is tracked and logged (with "worker documents" that travel each step of the way, like a real factory.)

Got annoyed with Git (it always feels over-complicated to me) so worked with Claude Code and built ( and released to npm) a "human friendlier git" called UNDU. Built with Bun, TypeScript, and SQLite. Includes Claude MCP. Silly? Maybe. Fun? yes. You can just do this in a few hours as a weekend project now..........

Built this last night....... Claude Code Matrix Monitor hooks into Claude Code's native event system to visualize every tool call in real-time. All of Claude's file reads, searches, edits, and bash commands stream via WebSocket to a cyberpunk dashboard that renders radar sweeps, pulse rings, code rain with actual code edits / diffs, and glitch effects. It's project-local, non-invasive, and toggles on/off with one file. TLDR: you can watch the AI as it works....
