The Entire Country has been saluting and honouring the Indian Armed forces especially the martyrs who have laid down their lives in service of the nation, as part of #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav The 75+ years celebration of India's Independence, with focus on all the #Veers and #Shaheeds from pre-independence to post-colonial times! And yet during this #AmritKaal of honoring the bravehearts especially from August of this year and ongoing by various depts of government, with the nationwide celebration of #MeriMatiMeraDesh and #VeeronKaVandan campaign of giving respect to the martyrs at their villages, installing memorial plaques etc, in the state of Manipur, there is a particular community who not only disrespects and dishonours the efforts and sacrifices of the Jawans on a daily basis by questioning their identity, checking convoys, disrupting supplies have now reached to an altogether new level of banning not just the central armed forces but even their family members from Manipur! Let us take a moment to look at the root cause of how violence escalated from 3rd of May until now: 1. Fake&fabricated news about a meitei lady being raped in Churachandpur made the rounds on social media widely circulated which was later clarified by concerned authorities & the alleged victim’s parents that no such thing occurred. 2. Based on this information, tribal women in Imphal-meitei dominated localities were subjected to sexual&physical abuse and brutality. Meitei women the so called Imas/ #MeiraPaibis were seen encouraging their sons/boys to rape a tribal girl in broad daylight. They were seen actively participating in the lynching of Kuki-zo tribals. 3. Despite all these, the so called *#MeiraPaibis* declared the 3rd Nupilal so brazenly. The so called Mothers encouraging their sons to violate another women’s daughter has shown us how degraded the mentality of these meitei women are. 4. While calling out for peace in-front of national media houses, their so called activist Binalakshmi Nepram apparently forgot how in the name of #WomenEmpowerment her own womenfolk from her community colluded in sheltering & instigating violence against their fellow women. Double standard hypocrisy Alert. The very women that went wild & crazy thirsting for blood & weapon are now crying PEACE infront of outsiders is a staged act hidden with vicious malice. 5. We cannot trust women that demanded the violation of another women’s precious daughter & took part in their lynching. 𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 Are we living behind the Iron Curtains, or in Nazi Germany that a random person is picked up to appease a certain community? Or to show that the agency is seen to be doing something - catching an innocent person on a made-up agenda, no less ? Just so that the CM can have a sound -byte of imagined 'Transnational Conspiracy' which the Meitei leaders and Organisations give the Kuki-Zos too much credit for! Here is an unfortunate guy whose poor health didn't even permit him to serve as a volunteer, let alone be involved in the crimes he's been accused of! And the NIA didn't even have the balls to pick him at the relief camp which he called home since 3rd May when he lost everything ,house and properties . He was picked up while making ends meet transporting essentials to feed his wife and kids. And we have a really Hitler-ish CM who is more than ready to use each and every opportunity to hammer in on the 'other' community however flimsy the case may be. How such a partisan CM is still.the head of the state defies all logic. Even a hard-core Kim-Jong-Un supporter in North Korea in similar circumstance would have been given the boot by now?
