There is no other way to understand how downtown Salt Lake City can be free of homeless, tents and drug addicts and Oakland and San Francisco can be full of them without coming to accept one honest truth. They have the social values and conviction to not allow it and Oakland and SF don’t. There’s no excusing it away, it’s a choice. Plain and simple.
