No pretending from Marshon Lattimore. There is extra motivation facing the Saints in his Commanders debut. "They traded me away. I'm going back to show why they shouldn't have."

I asked Jayden Daniels about his friend Brandon Aiyuk’s football future: "I don’t know, I don’t have a sense on it. That is my brother and we have a personal relationship. His football future, that’s out of my control”

Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin arrive for a hero's welcome. Owners Mitch Rales and Mark Ein there for hugs.

Call me crazy but I think he wants the 49ers to release him so he can sign with the Commanders.

Dan Quinn's final message/life advice to the Salisbury University graduating class of 2025: "Let it f*cking rip."

Meet Colson Yankoff, the UDFA QB/RB/WR from UCLA, who made the Commanders' roster at TE and a special teams performer.

Mike Sainristil on the Cowboys' passing attack. Dak Prescott threw four touchdown passes.

Asked Kliff Kingsbury, a former college and NFL head coach, about Bill Belichick going to UNC: "I'll have to see him on the sidelines to believe that's happening." Added, "I can't see my man going into any home visits or doing cocktail hours."

I asked Dan Quinn about what he saw with Mike Sainristil's coverage on the 9-yard TD and 64-yarder, both caught by Wicks. On the TD: "To have that type of play and just not have the right focus at right time, completely not acceptable."

Jayden Daniels on playoff bound Caleb Williams and Drake Maye: "We've got a bad ass class of quarterbacks."

Commanders OC David Blough on the final play: "I'm the one last line of communication with the quarterback. It falls on me."

No practice squad. First-team all-hair.

Dan Quinn opens his Monday media availability explaining the final stretch of OT, mainly that it “took entirely too long” to get going after the Rachaad White handoff. “We've got a lot of shit to clean up.”

Center talk

Daronte Jones puts the onus on "communication" issues for coverage breakdowns last week.

Snoop Dogg with Jayden Daniels-related jokes: * "He's so chill, Weed smokes him to relax." * "You were so good this year, the NFL had to finally tell your team about this award show."

Jayden Daniels is asked about possibly returning this season despite injury risk: "If I'm healthy and ready to go, I want to be out there."

Terry McLaurin on extension talks: "I've been frustrated. I'm not gonna lie."

Sonny Styles heard the online criticisms about his initial preseason games. Said a similar scenario unfolded when he switched positions at Ohio State. Part of the deal. Things worked out there.

Tom Brady went from getting roasted to roasting Jayden Daniels on his injuries, his thin frame and... damn, he made mom jokes.

Two sides to every story, but I'm not sure how anyone is excited about the idea of Brandon Aiyuk to Washington based on these and other comments out of San Fran. (fwiw I'd rather see Commanders spend on a Z-receiver like Aiyuk than slot.)

Asked Dan Quinn about the plan to help the offense/passing game. I tried.
