Q: What did you learn working with a powerhouse like Noah Wyle? SG: He was really great at talking about his experience and what it was like being on ER. I learned a lot from that from him.

Q: Who of your Pitt costars would make the best real life doctor? Who are you trusting with your life? Shabana: Supriya was like pre-med so that’s the obvious answer. Q: And who would be the worst? Shabana: Meeee! I have ADHD. I would be so distracted. 😭😭😭

Supriya Ganesh on the fan reactions over her exit: “It was surprising. (...) I feel sad that they won't even be able to see the completion to the character, and they won't be able to see how she grows and evolves. But also, I think that's just a story that the writers wanted to tell.”

Doctor Mike: I'm surprised this is workup that's being done in the ER. Supriya: I think something's trying to be said about how much he likes Duke. Doctor Mike: He's doing all this for this guy, but when you're having a panic attack, he's like get out of here. Get out of my ER.

“We filmed so many takes of that. There's so many variations of it. There needs to be like a blooper reel of everything that Noah did as he walked by. It's really funny.” - Supriya on Robby walking by and stopping to look at Mohan and Abbot via TV Insider

Fiona and Shabana on Supriya’s exit on the Pitt: Fiona: I was quite surprised, and yeah, we were a core group that kind of made the show, and so you kind of don't want to see that change. Shabana: It's just a beautiful thing that her character had such an impact. Her character was kind and good and trying, and I think that those are really qualities that we want more of in ourselves, and to have somebody exemplify those things is such a beautiful thing. She's the Doctor you'd want to have.

“She looked like she was in the middle of a surgery. She was all sweaty. She wasn’t dolled up. She is obviously naturally beautiful but she wasn’t leaning into the aesthetic of her beauty at all. She was playing the commitment of the character.” - Noah on Supriya’s audition

Supriya: The healthcare field is 60% female or more. It bugs me when I watch other medical shows and I’m like, there should be more women. Taylor: White guy, white guy, white guy, white guy. Supriya: Yeah! It's frustrating to see this strange misrepresentation that's happening.

“There’s a lot of reasons why I use those pronouns that relate to my queerness, but also to my race. I wanted to be able to signal to other queer, brown women that I'm out & it's not a big deal. In my head it doesn't feel like coming out. It feels like letting people in.”

I: So what do we have to do to get Harry Styles on #ThePitt? S: Oh, I mean, probably be less famous. Unfortunately, you can't have faces that are that recognizable other than Noah on the show. Kind of breaks the reality of what we're going for and all of that. via ET

Q: Are you going to finish med school? Or the acting is okay, we're good? Supriya: You know, I think I only really wanted to be a doctor 'cause I saw Cristina Yang on Grey's Anatomy and I was like, I want to be that and I'm realizing now it was probably more for the acting.
