Meet the Nigerian AHS Official Who Staffs Alberta With Nigerian Doctors: Dr. Jane Ojedokun She is the AHS official responsible for recruiting and placing doctors across northern Alberta. We examined every public AHS welcoming statement for new physicians in that zone under her leadership. The pattern is not subtle. Of the 18 doctors she publicly welcomed, 67% received their medical training in Nigeria. That is a higher concentration of Nigerian-trained physicians than all of her predecessors combined since 2015. One of the countrymen she hired, Dr. Tochukwu Gideon Anizoba, who has 3 different graduation years for the same medical diploma, she praised him on behalf of the AHS for his obstetric skills even though he was legally not allowed to practice obstetrics. Is she staffing and overseeing northern hospitals with carefully vetted physicians — or with doctors who have conflicting graduation years and suspension histories? She does not only recruit for AHS, she also recruits for the private clinic she runs with her husband, Dr. Joseph Ojedokun: Life Medical Clinic in Whitecourt. Nearly every physician she has brought into that clinic is a Nigerian-trained foreign medical graduate. The Ojedokuns relocated to Canada in the early 2010s seeking economic vibrancy. In 2018, while she already held public medical authority, she moved to block a competitor. When another private clinic tried to open in Whitecourt, she wrote to town council opposing it. Her words were not mild. “Our community definitely does not deserve sub-quality doctors who have not been properly interviewed and vetted by the North Zone Medical Affairs,” she wrote. “Poor or substandard care is what will ensue if these doctors are allowed to set up a practice in our community.” This is the same official who welcomed a man with three different graduation years for the same diploma. This is the same department that vetted and hired a doctor suspended in South Africa to practise in Beaverlodge, who sent Baby alita home when she was hours away from dying. Town council dismissed her pushback, described her intervention as "self-serving," "socialist," and "protectionist." Was “poor or substandard care” a genuine patient-safety concern? Or was it an argument of convenience against anyone who threatened the clinic she and her husband run? Neither the AHS nor Dr. Ojedokun responded to my media inquiry. If that was the gatekeeping culture she practised in Whitecourt — leveraging patient-safety concerns when they served her private interests — is that now the culture applied across northern Alberta? Baby Alita’s grandfather, Ben Ludwig, put the duty simply. Government is not for business. It is to make sure what is right is done.

Report Finds “Doctor” Who Sent Baby Alita Home Hours Before Her Death “Never Lawfully Qualified” In December 2024, two-and-a-half-year-old Alita Gerbrandt was taken to Beaverlodge Hospital in northern Alberta, Canada, with worsening pneumonia. The doctor who examined her, Ogochukwu Obed Anizoba, sent the family home despite their unresolved concerns. Hours later, Alita died. I travelled to South Africa to investigate why he was suspended there. Officials at the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), confirmed that Anizoba is suspended but stated they are not permitted to disclose the reasons. To establish the grounds for that suspension, we obtained a professional verification report from a South African data solutions and investigative firm. According to the report’s internal records, the licence was withdrawn for the following reasons: 📌 Anizoba did not possess a valid Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery degree. 📌 He relied on falsified, misleading, or improperly represented certification. 📌 He dishonestly represented his eligibility to practise as a medical practitioner and specialist. These findings, the report states, “directly invalidate the subject’s authority to have practised as either a medical practitioner or specialist.” The report further concludes that every medical qualification he holds is compromised by the absence of a lawfully obtained primary medical degree. The investigators state clearly that he “did not lawfully qualify as a medical practitioner,” rendering subsequent specialist designation and practice invalid. Simply Solitude assessed his overall risk level as extreme, citing: 📌 Practice without lawful qualification 📌 Use of falsified documentation 📌 Continued practice after licence withdrawal 📌 Misrepresentation to patients and institutions 📌 Public safety impact: Severe. These findings stand in direct conflict with Anizoba’s initial claim that he was never suspended and has a full licence in South Africa. They also conflict with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta’s decision to close its investigation into Alita’s death on the grounds that he possessed the requisite medical skills.

The Forgotten Canadian Immigration Officer Murdered by Sikh Militant Mewa Singh Inside a Courthouse Officer William C. Hopkinson was not a soldier, but he was assassinated in the line of duty while enforcing Canada’s immigration law in 1914, which is now viewed as racist. The movie Guru Nanak Jahaz, funded by the Canadian government, depicts how he was assassinated by Mewa Singh Lopoke to avenge his Sikh brothers who were denied entry into Canada during the Komagata Maru incident. Today, some regard Mewa Singh as a hero and an inspiration, despite his conviction and execution for assassinating Officer Hopkinson inside a courthouse while he was unarmed. Singh continued to shoot him after he was already dead, using two pistols until both were emptied. “I Shoot. I Done.” The Killing of a Canadian Immigration Officer by Mewa Singh Guru Nanak Jahaz, funded by the Canadian government and supported by several Punjabi immigration consultancies, depicts the 1914 assassination of Canadian immigration officer William C. Hopkinson by Mewa Singh inside the Vancouver courthouse corridor. Mewa Singh, celebrated as a “Canadian shaheed” by some today, was motivated by the Komagata Maru incident, where Canada denied entry to hundreds of his countrymen from India for violating the continuous journey regulation, and by his belief that Hopkinson’s intelligence network was harming the Sikh community. In the film’s portrayal of the killing, Singh empties one pistol into Hopkinson, then continues firing with a second until both weapons are out of ammunition. Hopkinson was unarmed. Singh surrendered on the spot, pleaded guilty, and was hanged in January 1915. Is Mewa Singh a Canadian martyr for assassinating an unarmed Canadian immigration officer inside a courthouse?

AHS Misrepresented Two Nigerian Doctor Brothers to Rural Alberta In 2024, two-and-a-half-year-old Alita Gerbrandt was taken to Beaverlodge Hospital in northern Alberta with worsening pneumonia. The "doctor" who examined her, Ogochukwu Obed Anizoba, sent her home despite her family's unresolved concerns. Hours later, she died. 🔍 Our investigation found that this doctor had been suspended in South Africa since 2012, allegedly for misrepresentation and for not possessing a valid medical diploma. When first asked, he denied ever being suspended. That is the first brother. The second brother also practices medicine in Alberta. His name is Dr. Tochukwu Gideon Anizoba. Their records line up almost exactly: same roof, same department in South Africa, same exam date, same graduation date. Then both end up as doctors in northern Alberta. 📢 What Alberta Health Services told the public AHS introduced the Anizoba brothers as new Nigerian physicians who had simply completed their training in South Africa. ⚠️ That was not true. Both men had already been fully registered, practising physicians in South Africa. They were not new doctors finishing school. They were doctors who had already been inside another country’s medical system. In December 2024, AHS announced that Tochukwu Gideon Anizoba was a “newly recruited” family physician. North Zone medical director Dr. Jane Ojedokun, also a Nigerian foreign medical graduate, introduced Tochukwu to Edson, praised his family medicine and obstetrics skills. What is troubling is that the CPSA had already restricted Tochukwu from practising obstetrics. He was also not “newly recruited.” AHS had already recruited him in 2018 to work in Westlock. Dr. Ojedokun and AHS did not respond to a media inquiry seeking comment on the discrepancies between the record and their statements. Rural patients often cannot check a Nigerian or South African file themselves. They rely on AHS and the CPSA to tell them who that doctor is. 📁 What the court file shows Court records exclusively obtained by Media Bezirgan show that Tochukwu Anizoba had already been hired by AHS years earlier. Under another name: Dr. Tobby Anizoba. In 2016, a clinic in High Prairie tried to hire a Nigerian-trained doctor from South Africa who called himself Dr. Tobby Anizoba. The clinic asked AHS to sponsor his Practice Readiness Assessment. AHS said no. The clinic sued. In 2018, the court sided with AHS. Then the fight became pointless, because AHS sponsored him anyway — not in High Prairie, but in Westlock. The High Prairie court file settled it. Dr. Tobby Anizoba and Dr. Tochukwu Gideon Anizoba are the same person. That is why “newly recruited” in 2024 does not hold. Alberta had already had this man in the system. Here is the problem. ❌ There is no Tobby Anizoba on the CPSA register. ❌ CPSA records show Tochukwu only began working in 2024. This leaves a six-year regulatory gap unexplained. A legitimate doctor does not use two names. A legitimate doctor does not list three different years for the same degree. That is the problem we identified with Dr. Tochukwu, also known as Tobby — the brother of Ogochukwu, the doctor who sent Baby Alita home. Look at his graduation year for the University of Benin: His CV says 2001 CPSA records say 2002 His LinkedIn says 2000 ⚠️ AHS told rural Alberta it had recruited a new doctor from South Africa. The court file shows a man who had already been inside the Alberta system under another name, with a résumé that cannot agree on the year he became a doctor. One brother was suspended in South Africa and sent Alita home. The other was presented to Edson with a skill he was restricted from practicing. How many other doctors licensed in Alberta have been suspended in another country for serious reasons? How many have graduation years that do not match from one record to the next? And how many has AHS introduced to rural towns with skills the CPSA had already restricted them from practising?

EXCLUSIVE: Humboldt Father Speaks Out, Exposes Why Sidhu Still Avoids Deportation: “He Only Cares About Himself" (WARNING: The contents of this story may be extremely upsetting or distressing to some viewers.) On April 6, 2018, a double-trailer semi-truck driven by Jaskirat Singh Sidhu blew through a stop sign at a rural intersection in Saskatchewan, Canada, and collided with a bus carrying the Humboldt Broncos players and staff, injuring 13 people and killing 16, most of them teenagers, including Chris Joseph’s son, Jaxon. After pleading guilty and serving roughly four years in prison, Sidhu has been on full parole since 2023. However, he has continued to dominate headlines, fighting tooth and nail not to be deported back to India. Jaxon’s father, Chris Joseph — a former NHL player and firefighter — says Sidhu is not the remorseful man the media portrays him to be, but a "selfish" one who affected his life “in the worst way possible,” and who continues to do so by seeking an exemption from the law after having destroyed 29 families. “The last time I ran my fingers through my son’s hair was in a morgue. He was cold, and he was beat up,” says Joseph, responding to the truck driver whose reckless driving resulted in the death of Joseph’s son Jaxon, along with 15 others, yet who continues to fight against deportation to India on the grounds that he does not want to be separated from his own son. While most Canadians agree with his deportation order, some columnists and politicians argue that he should be forgiven and not be separated from his family. “You tell me which child of yours you want to give up, and I will be the keyboard warrior hoping for forgiveness. It’s not about vindication — it’s about what’s right and what’s wrong, and the future of our country,” says Joseph, arguing that giving Sidhu an exemption from the law would set the wrong precedent for other unqualified drivers and signal that Canadian lives do not matter. “Everybody has told him he should be deported — the judge, the CBSA, the Immigration and Refugee Board, the Federal Court of Appeal — and he still keeps trying, because he is looking out for himself and he really doesn’t care about anybody else,” says Joseph, urging politicians not to interfere with the judicial process and to allow him to be deported as he is supposed to be. In this exclusive interview with Media Bezirgan, Chris Joseph addresses those who advocate against Sidhu's deportation, discusses the corruption within the trucking industry, and explains why he no longer trusts the mainstream media when it comes to this story.

99.48%: How Alberta Hands Out Medical Licences Like Candy Foreign medical graduates now make up more than 40% of Alberta’s physician workforce. Between 2018 and 2025, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta received 7,077 licence applications. It rejected only 37 of them. That is an approval rate of 99.48% That is how a Nigerian-trained “doctor,” Ogochukwu Obed Anizoba — who had been suspended in South Africa — and his brother, Dr. Togochukwu Gideon Anizoba, who could not even spell the name of his own university correctly on his thesis and listed three different graduation years for the same degree, were able to obtain licences in a province that almost never turns anyone away. Before most foreign medical graduates can apply for a provincial licence, they must first pass the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination, Part 1. This exam tests whether a doctor’s knowledge meets Canadian standards. It is not designed to detect fraud. In its most recent annual report, the Medical Council of Canada reported a stark gap: - 94% of Canadian medical graduates pass on their first attempt - Nearly half of international medical graduates fail on their first attempt - More than half of those who retake the exam fail again Alberta has waived this requirement for physicians registered in South Africa. The question the numbers leave behind is simple: if almost anyone can obtain a licence in Alberta — including those suspended in South Africa — how are families supposed to distinguish a genuine doctor from a potentially fraudulent one?

BREAKING: Khalistan supporters use their daggers, swords, and spears to rip apart Indian flags in Calgary, Alberta. The Khalistan movement, notorious for Canada’s deadliest terror attack, is actively targeting Indian diplomats whenever they show up in Canada. The group was largely composed of the same protesters who clashed with police in Edmonton last week. However, unlike in Edmonton, this time supporters of India showed up to counter-protest. The CPSA closed its investigation into the family’s negligence complaint, leaving their questions about whether he had actually completed proper medical schooling unanswered. He was later discovered to have been suspended in South Africa, according to a South African data solutions report, for fraud and misrepresentation. When asked about the suspension, “Dr.” Ogochukwu Anizoba gave conflicting accounts. First, he denied ever being suspended, stating that he has his “full license in South Africa.” When confronted with the official South African medical board records, he changed his story and said: “I suspended my license because I left South Africa.” Both statements cannot be true at the same time. He then ended the phone call with a warning: “Don’t trace me. Do not. Just back off.” Following that call, “Dr.” Anizoba filed a report with law enforcement claiming harassment. As a result, I was banned from all hospitals in Alberta for one year, which legally hindered my ability to seek further clarification, particularly regarding the South African report that explicitly alleges fraud and misrepresentation as the reason for his suspension, and states that the suspension was not merely administrative. “Dr.” Anizoba also did not respond to a written request for comment, leaving many questions regarding his legitimacy unanswered. At the time of the phone call, I had already agreed not to trace him any further, as I had already traced him all the way back to South Africa.

"That guy didn't even fing care -- and that's what these guys are all like -- they do this everyday -- since these immigrants started coming here our truck insurance has doubled up." Sunny calls on all truck drivers to not work with corrupt trucking firms and instead work with long-established Canadian firms that cares about public safety. EXCLUSIVE: Canada Pauses Deportation of Trucker Jaskirat Sidhu, Who Killed 16 and Injured 13 Chris Joseph, father of Jaxon Joseph, whose life was lost along with 15 others in the Humboldt Broncos tragedy, says he will not stop his quest for justice and his fight to have the man responsible for the tragedy deported back to India, which was part of his sentence. “I honestly do feel like my son Jaxon would be right behind me saying, ‘Go get him, Dad,’” Joseph says, promising he will not stop until Jaskirat Sidhu is deported, after a federal court paused the deportation at the eleventh hour, when Sidhu was scheduled to be deported the next business day. “Being deported back to India, although not anybody’s favourite choice, is not a death sentence,” Joseph, the former NHL hockey player, says. “What we have is a death sentence,” he adds, pointing out that the last time he ran his fingers through his son’s hair was in a morgue. Joseph says Sidhu was ordered deported by everyone: the judge, the Immigration and Refugee Board, the Court of Appeal, and the CBSA, yet he is still fighting on humanitarian grounds to avoid being separated from his family in Canada. “His family can go to India with him. If my wife or I were deported, we’d be at each other’s side,” Joseph says, adding that forgiveness is irrelevant. “Deportation was part of his sentence. Forgiveness doesn’t mean he gets to be more special than any other criminal,” he says, emphasizing that people are deported every day for much less. Even the RCMP officer who served me the trespass notice was surprised that I was banned from ALL Alberta Health Services Hospitals and facilities. He said he will contact the AHS because he doesn’t understand how could that be. All I did was kindly ask the nurse if the doctor would be available for an interview after his shift ends. When she said no, I left. They didn’t ask me to leave, they didn’t trespass me, and I didn’t even see the doctor. That was back in March. How Fake Doctors Blend In — and Why Passing Exams Is Not Enough How do you detect a fake doctor? In Alberta, that question is no longer theoretical. The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta almost never refuses a licence. Between 2018 and 2025 it received 7,077 applications and rejected only 37 — an approval rate of 99.48%. Foreign medical graduates now make up more than 40% of the province’s doctors. Some come from countries where there is no reliable way to verify who they are. So how is an Albertan supposed to tell a licensed fake doctor from a licensed real one? In 2011, South African authorities dismantled what they described as a syndicate of bogus Nigerian doctors. The case was later cited in the South African Medical Journal by Janet Seggie, in an article titled “Trust me, I’m a ‘doctor’: Of bogus doctors, medical impostors, and medical fraudsters.” Her point was blunt: spotting a fake doctor is much harder than people think. She quoted an editorial published in The Lancet more than a century ago: “The bogus doctor is a criminal who is a specialist — and he is assisted by the credulity of others. Medical men... do not always take the precaution of establishing his identity, and laymen... who fall into his hands have not sufficient knowledge or sufficient observation to detect him.” A 1996 study from Bath University, reported in the Health Service Journal, showed how this works inside a hospital. More than 30 bogus doctors had been able to work for Britain’s National Health Service. As Hartland wrote, "a well-equipped bogus doctor can blend into the medical culture, taking up a position in the medical team, learning by apprenticeship, benefiting from the actions of colleagues, and accumulating experience. In many ways, bogus doctors are uncomfortably like genuine doctors.” That is why the ultimate test of legitimacy is not a licence, which Alberta hands out like candy. It is not a diploma, which can be purchased or forged. It is not even a Canadian exam, which a determined person can study for and pass. The real test is identity: graduation years, work history, and a record with no contradictions. In a profession that deals with life and death, there should be no room for inconsistencies. That is exactly the problem with Nigeria. Unlike South Africa and most G20 countries, it has no publicly accessible registry. Canadians have no independent way to verify the identity of anyone who claims to have been a doctor there. In 2024, Baby Alita was sent home from Beaverlodge Hospital in Alberta by Nigerian-trained “Dr.” Ogochukwu Obed Anizoba, despite her family’s unresolved concerns. She died hours later. Anizoba first denied ever being suspended in South Africa. He has in fact been suspended there since 2012, allegedly for misrepresentation and for not possessing a valid primary medical diploma from Nigeria. His brother, Tochukwu Gideon Anizoba, also practises as a doctor in Alberta and has three different graduation years listed for the same medical diploma. If identity cannot be verified, a licence does not settle the question. And while the U.K.’s medical accreditation body admits that "100% security is almost impossible," Alberta’s CPSA continues to dodge a more basic one: how many other highly questionable foreign graduates has it already licensed to practise medicine in Alberta?
