🇺🇸 Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang on what makes Trump unique: "It was hard to go to DC in the past. As you know, getting an appointment was almost impossible. President Trump has a open door to leaders who want to come in and help them understand the future. This is an administration that believes in growth. Fundamentally, president Trump wants America to grow." — NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang with Brad Gerstner on the Bg2 Pod

📈 Brad Gerstner on the insane revenue numbers coming out of Anthropic: "We had a $6 billion month out of Anthropic in February...It was only a 28-day month. That's more revenue than the annual revenue of Databricks and Snowflake – that are two of the greatest software companies of all time after 12 years, right? They could do, in the first four or five months of this year, the total revenue of SpaceX this year." –Brad Gerstner on The All-In Podcast

🚀 Brad Gerstner on Elon Musk's ace card with xAI's compute infrastructure: "There's nobody better on planet Earth than Elon at converting electrons to tokens... Now we see the ace card that Elon's playing. He said he was building AWS all along or EWS (Elon Web Services) all along. I estimate that this is going to generate in this year an incremental $4 to $5 billion of revenue... That's a material amount of incremental revenue to offset the cost of the investments that he's made here." — Brad Gerstner on The All-In Podcast

“The Coatue team mapped out cloud revenue market share, Oracle at 5%, Amazon at 44% with AWS, Google 19%, Microsoft 30%. Next to that, they showed NVIDIA GPU allocation: Microsoft and Google match their cloud share. Amazon is 44% cloud revenue but only 20% GPUs. Oracle jumps from 5% to 19%. Cori comes out of nowhere at 11%.” “One obvious takeaway is that Amazon has half the share of GPUs than their share of AWS. So that could mean one of two things, either AWS is behind in AI, that could be one, or they're pursuing a different hardware strategy than its competitors.” — Bill Gurley Bill Gurley and Thomas Laffont Thomas Laffont

🚨 NEW: Anthropic released shocking revenue numbers. They now have over 1,000 enterprises paying $1M+ annually: "It turns out that the TAM for intelligence is radically different than anything that we've seen before... It's not that there was some great go-to-market in Anthropic that all of a sudden they snuck up and blew everybody away. No, it was companies demanding the product. They're getting throttled on the product. Why? Because it's so good. It makes them better at their business. We are all self-interested actors. And when millions of those people are all making the same decision, there's a huge tell. And the tell here is that the TAM is as big as Dario and Sam and others have been saying." -Brad Gerstner "This is truly mind-boggling when you think about it because those are the most coveted customers in the world... Slack dreamed of getting these million-dollar customers. Salesforce dreams of getting these million-dollar customers." -@jason

🤔 How do we ever get the Strait of Hormuz open again? "Listen, we degraded and we destroyed. That's what we came here to do. We did not come here for some experiment in democracy. We wish the best to the Iranian people to do the things they need to do. And if Iran does not back down, if after that declaration, Iran continues to destroy cargo containers moving through the narrow straits, I think you're going to see Iran's neighbors, and Israel, and others get very involved as it pertains to Iran because it's in their interest. The United States produces 20 million barrels of oil a day and we consume 20 million barrels a day. This is a modest problem for the United States. This is a massive problem for China. This is a massive problem for Asia. This is a massive problem for all of our friends in the Gulf who are trying to dodge Iranian missiles right now. So there are a lot of people in the world who will take up arms to deal with the Iranians if the United States isn't there, because we can take care of ourselves... This is not a risk-free initiative by the United States, nor was Venezuela. But let me steel man the alternative. Doing nothing and allowing Iran to procure the ingredients for a nuclear missile when they are set on the destruction of the United States and U.S. interests, doing nothing in Venezuela while the Monroe Doctrine is totally wrecked and we let our adversaries take up positions in South America, those also have risks, right? Those carry a lot of risks. And so we're weighing these two risks. Again, for me, I don't like the fact that we're engaged in military activities here, but I will tell you, I am very much on the side that if we're going to go protect American national security interests, you go in, you do the degrading of their capability and you get out. And I think that's what I hear out of the president." –Brad Gerstner (Brad Gerstner) on The All-In Podcast

“Rather than forming a third party, which seems to me just chaotic and a lot of overhead and has not historically been that successful.. I would love to see Elon, if this is his main issue, if it's the budget deficit and debt, which I would love to see him take on, he could do a series of things. Number one, he could really sponsor a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution of the United States under Article 5. If he put $10 billion against that effort, it would be the single largest constitutional effort in the history of the country.” -Brad Gerstner on Elon Musk’s 3rd Party on Bg2 Pod

🤖 Microsoft’s approach to headcount in the AI era: "I will say we will grow a headcount, but the way I look at it is that headcount we grow will grow with a lot more leverage than the headcount we had pre ai. And that's the adjustment. I think structurally you are seeing first, right? Which is one you called it 'getting fit.' — Satya Nadella on Bg2 Pod with Brad Gerstner and Sam Altman w/ Brad Gerstner adding: "I think we're on the verge of incredible economic productivity growth."

Jensen Huang plays out what would happen if every company augmented their employees with AI the way that NVIDIA does: "Human intelligence represents 55% - 65% of the world's GDP. Let's call it $50 trillion. Suppose I were to hire a $100,000 employee and I augmented that $100,000 employee with a $10,000 AI. And that $10,000 AI, as a result, made the $100,000 employee 2x more productive, 3x more productive.. Would I do it? Heartbeat. I'm doing it across every single person in our company right now. ...Now, apply the NVIDIA story to the world's GDP. What's likely to happen is that that $50 trillion is augmented by, let's pick a number, $10 trillion, that $10 trillion needs to run on a machine." — Jensen Huang with Brad Gerstner, Clark Tang (and a special appearance by Dr. Parik Patel, BA, CFA, ACCA Esq.)

📈 Brad Gerstner showed a fascinating chart on the latest episode of The All-In Podcast: "In 2022, NVIDIA and AMD had basically the same revenue, $25 billion. This year, Nvidia will do 10x that, at roughly $210B - $230B, and AMD will do $33 billion. Not much more than they were doing when the companies were tied in 2022. So Nvidia has captured nearly 100% of the incremental AI data center revenues over the course of the last two and a half years." -Brad Gerstner on the All In Football Show with @jason, Chamath Palihapitiya, David Sacks and david friedberg
