River Kelvin in Glasgow today, on the footballs-in-the-weir scale we’re on a 6 today, that’s a 6 (six) for the Kelvin today. No need to be alarmed.

This was nearly over before I pressed the button. Adult Kingfisher is feeding a wee fish to newly-fledged junior 1 (with back to camera), then junior 2 arrives, and then all three exit to left of frame. On the River Kelvin in Glasgow this afternoon.

Spruce-up for Kingfisher on the River Kelvin in Glasgow. I shot about 10 minutes of this in 4K but cut it way down for file-size limits to post. #birds

Another clip from the River Kelvin in Glasgow. This was an epic struggle between Kingfisher and, I think, an eel elver. Lasted several minutes; we think he won but he flew off to the other side of the river to finish the job. Starts full speed, then goes slow-mo, no sound. #birds

A curious Otter in the River Clyde in Glasgow. It was fully aware of me, and all the people on the walkway who stopped to ask what I was looking at, but continued to use this spot to haul out and eat its catch after each dive, for about half an hour.

An Otter going about its business (swimming, diving, eating fish) on the River Clyde, east of Glasgow Green. If you watch to the end you'll get some other bonus fishing-beasts from the Clyde.
