India can no longer afford the hypocrisy of tolerating unchecked illegal immigration from Bangladesh and the Rohingya crisis—enabled for decades by vote-bank politics—while turning a blind eye to the systematic persecution of Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. This contradiction demands decisive state action, not rhetoric. India must strictly enforce its immigration laws without exception, and simultaneously take responsibility for persecuted Bangladeshi Hindus—by fast-tracking citizenship, granting asylum, or pursuing an internationally backed solution that ensures their protection and survival.
