This is Gurugram - the same city where groundwater is nearly exhausted and drinking water has to be brought in from outside, through canals or bottled water. And look at the state of the city today. Kilometres-long traffic jams. Roads flooded. Rainwater has nowhere to go, and citizens are left stranded for hours. What kind of administration is this? Is this how a city is supposed to be governed? Or has governance simply become a business of extracting money from citizens while providing nothing in return? Gurugram is projected as a world-class city, but every heavy rainfall exposes the complete failure of urban planning and administration.
