A major incident was narrowly averted in Indore late at night. A bus that usually runs from Sarwate Bus Stand to Khargone was seen roaming in a deserted area around 2 AM, away from its designated route. Suspicious locals and Bajrang Dal workers stopped the bus and checked it. Inside, four men were reportedly found with a woman in a suspicious situation. The woman alleged that she had been abducted and forcibly made to sit in the bus while she was on her way to visit her sister in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. Due to timely intervention, a potential serious crime was prevented. Police have taken the accused into custody and started an investigation.
