Is this really the Liberal campaign strategy? I’ve just come home from spending the day at the Akoonah Market with our Berwick candidate, Michael Piastrino, where we met countless locals who wanted to express their concerns, only to have the Liberal candidate for Oakleigh travel all the way to Berwick to provoke and insult him. Shouldn’t the Liberal candidate for Oakleigh be.. I don’t know.. in Oakleigh? Campaigning and talking to the voters who he claims he wants to represent? Even more telling, we have messages from days ago showing that this visit was planned specifically to come and provoke our candidate. So is this what the Liberals have to offer Victorians? Instead of campaigning on policies, they’re sending candidates into other electorates to pick fights? We won’t be distracted. We’ll keep showing up, talking to voters and standing up for our communities. We won’t get down to their level, but you, the people, should know what’s going on. YOU’re dealing the cards in November, and YOU have the power to bring meaningful change.

Gender isn’t a qualification. We don’t need “more women” in politics, just for the sake of having more women. Australians don’t care if you’re a man or a woman — we care if you’re competent, capable, and delivering results. Enough with identity politics. Newsflash from a woman: leadership is about wanting you have to offer and how you can deliver, not gender. Also, it’s a bit rich coming from Julian Hill — who has no problem trying to tear down our leader Pauline Hanson 🇦🇺 , the first woman to have founded and grown a party - One Nation - from scratch. A woman who was dragged through the courts, even jailed, for challenging the establishment, and still, she has managed to grow her party so much to be in front of majors parties in the polls. It was fantastic to have the Boss Pauline Hanson 🇦🇺 touring Nepean ahead of the by-election. The support on the ground has been truly overwhelming and the dirty smear campaign the Libs are running with flyers, sms, and billboards, tell me they’re terrified by what’s coming, and they should. Because no matter how individually they might all be good people, collectively, as a nation, it is a problem, one that erodes cultural identity and social cohesion. MULTICULTURALISM IS A FAILED CONCEPT When you start seeing demographic change and clusters of groups that are supposed to be a “minority” forming - and all in a sudden we are the minority - it is a problem, and a big one.
