Will then possesses Vecna, gets PUSHED out of his mind and into a trance… everything goes to shit after that only for HIM. and MIKE also goes back to dud mode after this specifically. max assumes that it was EL who saved her when it was actually WILL - TWICE. Mike tell’s El “friends don’t lie” — and yet the painting lie is never resolved. Max is taken out of Vecna’s mind with the power of Lucas’ love and companionship. But Will? Will spends almost an entire episode in Vecna’s trance having his mind clawed, memories resurfaced and comes back to consciousness with ridden with guilt and shame and FEAR that his secret and queerness will be used against him.. weakening him through said fear to end the world, leading him to make the game time decision that he needs to come out to EVERYONE and shut down the possibility of the person he’s in love with reciprocating his love when literally two fucking episodes ago he saved three lives by channeling that love?
