Health update. After consulting with doctors and my team, I have decided to have right hip surgery early next week out in Colorado. It’s an unfortunate situation with so many great events left on the calendar but this is a preventative measure. I’m already itching to start rehab, get back to practicing and I look forward to returning to the course sometime around late summer/early fall. I would like to thank my family, friends, sponsors and partners for their continued support of me. I will share positive news on my rehab as I progress and I look forward to seeing everyone at the course again soon!

9 years sober today for my wife, brittany horschel. Amazing to see the transformation over the last 9 years. So proud of her!! 💪❤️ The message I have for anyone who is struggling with addiction is, it’s possible. Millions of ppl have made the choice before you, that they are tired of letting their addiction ruin their life and that they want to live a sober lifestyle now. There’s groups, rehabs, therapists, wherever you live that will help you get sober. But you have to take the first step on the path of sobriety. Wherever I go, I come across people that let me know that they are sober. And they tell me it’s the best decision they ever made for themelves. They are living a healthier lifestyle, enjoying life now more than ever before. It’s amazing to hear their stories and how many days, months, years that they have been sober. So it’s possible! You and only you, can take that first step! Then there will be people willing to take the continuous steps with you after. HorschelFamilyFdtn

Please watch!!! This is why I will continue to back these guys and push for them to get the support need to try and achieve a dream of playing professional golf at the highest level. Congrats Gabriel Lench on the victory and hopefully this leads to bigger and better things ahead.

Update on surgery and recovery. Thank you to Dr Philippon and his team out The Steadman Clinic for their help with a successfully surgery. No, I did not have a hip replacement. 😁. But the surgery itself was a success. Thank you to Meghan, Kat, Jason, Jess and Quinn at Howard Head Sports Medicine for their help with the first 3 weeks of rehab and making it as fun and entertaining as it can be. Thankful and very much appreciative of all the kind messages from everyone who has reached out over the last month. ❤️ I’m excited about my progress so far and looking forward to getting back to golf activities here soon. 😁👊🏌️♂️
