BNC has not been provided with, nor has it independently verified, any copy of the materials claimed by Leviste as the “Cabral Files.” As such, there is no factual basis to assert any similarity between those materials and the documents BNC reported on exclusively after they were obtained and verified in accordance with journalistic standards and in the public interest.
