Can't imagine anyone else in the role of Venky. Protagonist: ****************** Nandini is the protagonist. Setup Want : ***************** Her setup want is to find her dream man . Flaw: ********** Her Flaw is she doesn’t like the marriage not could not express that to her family. This is explained by showcasing Nandini getting up late on her engagement day and not revealing her face while exchanging ring to her fiancée. Point of No Return : ************************ Point of no return in this film is at 1:07nd minute when Nandini is impressed after hearing Venky’s POV about his father and being with him instead of earning money and staying away from him. Nandini finds her dream man and this is shown by revealing the face of Venky for the first time in her dream. If not for this scene NuvvuNakuNachav movie will not become NuvvuNakuNachav. Catch: ********** Nandini is already engaged but she found her dream man now which perfectly tests his flaw cannot express her POV to the family In Act 2 Nandini tries to express her love to Venky, who also loves Nandini but his priority was to protect the friendship of his father with Nandini’s father. Despite multiple attempts from Nandini Venky does not acknowledge her love. Venkys love is conveyed to audience while trying to apologize to Nandini , driving her to Asha’s wedding gifting her the flower she wanted. Crisis : ************ Venky does not accept Nandini’s love and requests her to marry the person she is engaged to. Suhasini and Chandramohan tries to convince venky but in vain. This is exactly the opposite of Setup want, Climatic choice: ******************* NuvvuNakuNachav does not follow Nutshell technique at this point. As per Nutshell climatic choice has to be taken by Protagonist but here Nandini has no role to play. Suhasini realizes Nandini’s love and tries to convince Venky but he doesn’t agree. Prakash raj came to know about Nandini’s love here also Nandini did not take any decision to move away from her flaw. In railway station somehow Prakash raj realizes Venkys love and get them married. IF climatic decision is taken by Nandini then it would have been perfect nutshell technique. Final step: ************** Venky and Nandini gets married. Strength: ************* Because of the flaw in climatic choice protagonist does not move away from flaw to attain strength but she gets married to her dream man
