Just over 10cm of new snow in Ottawa and another 5cm or so in lingering snow today. Could have been worse. More ❄️ fell JUST to our south. High today -12° (norm is -6°). Wind NE gusting near 20 this morning then ⬇️. Low -22° (norm is -15°). 40% chance of flurries Tues. & -12°.

Taking in the festive lights in downtown Ottawa. Today is definitely the calm before the storm. Enjoy a mix of sun & cloud, then ⬆️ cloud. High -9°. Freezing rain begins ~9pm and lasts until ~midday Mon. May mix with ice pellets. Temps may briefly rise above 0° before ⬇️ Mon pm.

The lights of Dow’s Lake. Here is my storm timeline. Intermittent light snow this pm, becoming steadier and heavy at times w/blowing snow this eve (10-20cm). Changing to ice pellets and/or fr. rain o/nite, then to rain Wed morning. What a mess! #ottawa #ONStorm #Ottnews #ONwx
