Baloch Literacy Campaign The Baloch Literacy Campaign (BLC) is deeply concerned about the Government Primary School Dilbar Matt, Peer Shari Darbar, Dera Bugti, Balochistan. The school was functional until 2000. However, due to the ups and downs of circumstantial situations, it has remained closed since 2000 and currently looks like a ruined building. The students of that area lack access to education and are unable to attend any nearby school because there are no operational schools in the vicinity. The local community strongly demands the restoration of the school's functionality so that they can educate their children. The Baloch Students Action Committee (BSAC ), under its literacy campaign (BLC), urges the concerned authorities to take notice of this issue and ensure the smooth functioning of the school—either in the existing building or in a new one—so that students of the region can easily access education. We also like to remind the concerned authorities that many regions across Balochistan face same like situations, with non-functional or partially functional infrastructure reduced to ruined buildings rather than functional schools. All such schools need to be rebuilt and renovated as soon as possible. Baloch Students Action Committee

Baloch Literacy Campaign The Baloch Literacy Campaign presents the poor condition of the Government Girls Middle School, Cheel, Greshag Khuzdar, Balochistan. This is a middle school which has only two teachers, who are teaching the students on contractual basis. According to the students rest of the teachers along with the headmistress often remain absent from the school. The school possesses no adequate facilities including doors & windows, desks & mats for students. It also lacks water & washroom facilities for the female students. Building of the school is ruined & is unsuitable to b used anymore. BSAC (BSAC) ,under the banner of BLC, demands for its renovation with all possible facilities & enough teaching staff to ensure the quality education of the students of Greshag. This is required on urgent basis.

Under the #BalochLiteracyCampaign, BSAC Nall Zone visited the closed school of Basti AbdulKarim in Girisha Sahardaf area of Khuzdar district. The residents of the area are demanding that the school, which has been closed for fifty years, should be made functional soon.

The Government Middle School in Kapkopar, Ball Negwar has 650 students, but only three teachers who are partially present, and it lacks basic facilities. Students walk 6 km daily to attend classes. We demand higher authorities to take immediate notice of this issue. #BLC #BSAC

#KechBalNigwar The students of Govt Middle School Kapkapar Bal Nigwar, Kech are protesting against unavailability of teachers.Local residents have already hired teachers under their own help. Through the #BalochLiteracyCampaign we call for the recruitment of staff in the school.
