Easy.. easy. I’m no Abe defender but…… 1. His call to have Shiro Sagisu work on BLEACH. 2. His call to lean so heavily into Kubo’s fashion iconography for openings and endings. (It does not become as big of a deal later if he does not start it initially) 3. His initial interpretation of the “mood” and “atmosphere” for early BLEACH was SUPER effective. 4. He had a hell of an animation squad with him. (For the most part) 5. For 366 episodes, every BLEACH title card is different. No two are the same and each are unique in a VERY COOL WAY. Bro wasn’t perfect but he wasn’t all Bad either.
