The chaos we faced shooting this scene with Zubby Michael😭 We covered his face to enter the market, but the moment we removed the mask to film, the whole place erupted. The funniest and saddest part? The location fee instantly doubled because they said “they didn’t know I was bringing a celebrity” 😂 Filmmaking in Nigeria is not for the weak. I will be sharing more BTS from Call of My Life. Two years ago, my friend and I pitched an idea to Zikoko, to turn their incredible articles into short films and as a lover of modern love, I believed it could work. But as they say, great things take time. This is my first time serving as both Showrunner and Producer, working with a number of brilliant writer-directors Dikadi. Ụzọamaka Power Vaami Olamide Àdìó Everyone brought their A-game. Working with Zikoko reminded me of something I deeply believe: great collaboration is absolutely possible. Thankful to my amazing crew and cast for their hard-work and dedication to this project. Siraam will always be a fave. Gen ✨ gave such a beautiful performance, and my writer-director Ụzọamaka Power crafted and directed this beautiful story with so much heart.
