In Gaza, displacement is no longer an exceptional event it has become a daily part of life. Whenever the warning sirens sound or evacuation orders are issued by the Israeli occupation forces, families begin a new journey of wandering, laden with fear and the few belongings they can carry, or sometimes with nothing but exhausted bodies and heavy hearts. The streets have become places for sleeping and waiting, where people sleep on the ground and seek shelter under the open sky. Some manage to arrange a thin tent that barely protects them from the sun and wind, while others remain homeless, wandering among the ruins of destroyed homes or taking refuge within walls that still stand. The streets of the Gaza Strip, including its sidewalks and roads, have been transformed into open tents for displaced people fleeing death, after the relentless Israeli bombardment from the north of the Strip swept them away, amidst the absence of any safe shelter or humanitarian services..
