Tracking The Status Of Implementation Of Metro Project In Bangalore Independently Since 2009

It has been 2 months since Minister Krishna Byre Gowda met BMRCL officials and took stock of the status of the project. During which, he said he would review the project weekly and said to be in daily touch with BMRCL officials to keep the progress moving to meet the deadlines. We were hoping that the long stuck Kempapura & Nagawara station works would gain pace, after that review promise. However, Kempapura station has not seen any movement in these 2 months. Infact, nothing since last 1 year in the main grid of the station. Whereas Nagawara has seen staggard tiniest of progress, still not up to the optimum pace. One tiniest move is followed by long gap of inactivity in the main grid. Considering the minister has been in daily touch with BMRCL and has been reviewing, we request the minister to kindly reveal the reason for such long absence of work in these 2 stations and when can we expect full fledged work to resume? Not nudging the work towards full pace would keep renewing the deadlines frequently, where deadline has no meaning. Station work takes quite a lot more time to finish than the viaduct. Given the status, it is not possible to finish in the announced deadline. Hope to see the work gain momentum soon. #BMRCL #NammaMetro
