On August 16th, I'm hosting a summer BBQ for founders in SF alongside FuseAI, Corgi, Contrario (YC W25), Sprinto, and Rho. Our plan is to take some of the best founders from Y Combinator, HFØ, and a16z, and put them all in one backyard. There will be drinks, games, raffle prizes, and hip hop throwbacks playing all day. I can block you now, and I won't hesitate. A bit harsh, but here me out: Every introduction I make has my name on it. When I connect two people, I'm saying "I trust this person enough to put them in front of someone I care about." So that means the quality of my network is directly tied to how people behave inside of it. If someone is rude to me, cusses me out, or uses one of my connections as an opportunity to be disrespectful to someone else, I'm going to block them. I can't risk the goodwill I've built up with others. Sometimes I can unblock you. If you think it was a mistake, continue texting and make your case. I promise I'm reasonable.
