Extremely sad that MyGov Assam is planning to extend the Noonmati-GNB Road flyover to Dighalipukhuri. The historical Dighalipukhuri area with its great expanse of hundreds of years old trees will face the cruel axe to make way for the totally unnecessary flyover which can be stopped at the TC school roundabout. The character of a city lies in its physical history and to tamper with it is mindless. The openness of the Dighalipukhuri area will be ruined forever. I hope good sense prevails with Chief Minister Assam and an alternative will be found to safeguard the beauty and grandeur of Dighalipukhuri. #savedighalipukhuri #saveguwahati #environment
