Every highly successful person you’ll ever meet has a gargantuous ego. Huge. They know what they’ve accomplished relative to the average person. They’re not stupid. The nightmare fuel that drove them to wake up and work themselves to exhaustion for years is the average persons life. Every effort was made to run away. To escape. The very mindset of the majority is so abhorrent to them they take severe measures to prevent it from polluting their own minds. Feel good tropes are PR management. They’re simply smart enough to know who can handle the full force of their ego without desperate tone policing, demands for ‘humility,’ or incessant complaining.
