Nobody has been more critical of Jon than me. Some of it has probably been OTT but last night, I have no complaints. Was he perfect? Obviously not. Do I want shows to be? Not really. However, the version of Jon I witnessed at MSG was completely different to last night. Last night, Jon had a bit of swagger again. He sounded and looked better. He seemed so happy. Tomorrow, the show could be the complete opposite to yesterday. That's how I feel Bon Jovi shows have been lately. One good show, one poor show. BUT, I am hoping Jon takes confidence from last night and gets better on these remaining 5 shows. Hey God HAS to stay. These Days HAS to stay. Get rid of a few songs and mix it up and we are happy. I've been critical of Jon Bon Jovi since that podcast last week with the whole "I was tired" comment BUT This just popped up on my feed and I can only praise him during this period in 2011. I have trained people who are recovering from this same injury and it's a hard injury to come back from in everyday life. I'm not saying all, but a lot of artists would have stopped and either cancelled some shows or really held back. Jon did another 11 songs that night and finished a tour that gave us some amazing memories. 15 years ago. Crazy!
