That is Turkish-occupied Northern Kurdistan (Bakûr). This reflects what Kurdish nationalism once looked like: we respected our national flag, were still able to speak Kurdish, and openly demanded the independence of Kurdistan - before PKK indoctrination began to systematically dismantle it. In many ways, the PKK functioned as a tool of the Turks and the Turkish terror state, FILTERING OUT Kurdish nationalists who were then targeted, persecuted, and ultimately killed. Every Kurd who was more capable, more intelligent, or more competent within its ranks than the PKK's Turkish leadership was eliminated. The PKK on one side, and the Muslim Brotherhood on the other. We remember all our fallen martyrs. KURD • KURDÎ • KURDISTAN
