Hezbollah: At 2:30 on Tuesday, 10/03/2026, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance confronted an attempt at advancement carried out by the forces of the Israeli enemy army on the southern outskirts of the city of Khiam, in the vicinity of the detention center. The Mujahideen of the Resistance achieved confirmed hits on two Merkava tanks, one of which was seen burning. During the enemy's attempts to withdraw the two tanks, the Mujahideen once again resorted to targeting the evacuation forces with appropriate weapons, amid fierce clashes with the advancing Israeli force, and these clashes are still ongoing at the time of issuing this statement.

IDF officials said in reference to the change: "We are trying to move as much as possible in the Yellow Line area." "The IDF will have to change its strategy regarding its ability to move at night" The IDF continues to investigate how explosive drones managed to hit forces in southern Lebanon in recent days, for the first time at night. This happened first (second*) in an incident on Saturday in which Michael Tyukin, a Givati fighter, fell and then in a separate incident in between Sunday and Monday in which Sergeant Adam Tzarfati, from Rosh Ha-Ayin, fell. "It's quite strange that the drone hit the force at night, it hasn't happened to combat teams yet," said a Givati patrol fighter who came to visit the wounded in the incident in which the drone hit the force that was on its way to Beaufort. Hezbollah is making changes to the way it uses the deadly weapon. At first, it had difficulty flying the drones professionally, and it also did not know how to identify targets as needed. IDF drone experts have reported progress in flying them and their ability to get close to fighters. As part of its defense efforts against explosive drones, the IDF has significantly reduced the use of heavy equipment such as excavators and bulldozers, which have become easy targets.
