20 years ago today, July 9, 2006, Boston’s North End was celebrating Italy winning the 2006 World Cup in Berlin by defeating France 5–3 in a penalty shoot-out after the match ended in a 1–1 draw following extra time. Some of us were still acquiring proper phone camera skills back then.
