With the power of social media, the stolen eggs were returned to Dunne's Farm Pastured Eggs and they posted the following update: "PART 2(update)" “People pretending to be honest” "Unfortunately, the language spoken in this video isn’t suitable for anyone’s ears in any language. "The eggs were returned this evening, along with a whole pile of demands that we simply cannot fulfil. "Among them were allegations that we had posted an address. We did not, and we never would. We would also ask everyone else not to post or share anyone’s address. "Shame really is a great thing. Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible to actually hold these people accountable for their actions. "And thank you to all the wonderful people who have offered to pay their debt. We won’t be accepting those offers but If you genuinely want to help, "Please consider making a donation to your local homeless charity instead they are far more in need of it than we are. "Finally, I know you two are listening to all of these posts following your dissatisfaction earlier. Please don’t ever return to Dunne’s Farm again. Friends of the 5 teenagers who lost theirs in the Fatal M9 car crash last Sunday have paid a controversial tribute to their deceased pals. The deceased teenagers were named locally as Kamil Pustkowski, Jack Kennedy, Jeremy O'Brien, Joe "Joey" Carthy and Alex McCarthy. Meanwhile, three sisters and young boy were seriously injured in Sunday's devastating M9 motorway collision. Sisters Alma and Niamh Kinsella, both aged in their 30s, and their younger sister Ella Hendricken, who is in her 20s, were travelling to Dublin Airport in the early hours of Sunday morning when their vehicle was involved in the fatal crash near Moone, Co Kildare. A seven-year-old boy, understood to be Alma's son, was also seriously injured. The family had been making their way to the airport to attend a family wedding in England when the collision occurred at approximately 3am between Junctions 3 and 4 of the M9. Their car was travelling in the correct direction when it was struck by a BMW that was being driven the wrong way along the motorway.

An irish woman is on her second day of her peaceful protest outside Meath County Council offices. Navan Women Clodagh de Róiste, who has been on the social housing list for over 25 years, has taken her fight to the doorsteps of the Meath County Buildings at Buvinda House in Navan, Co. Meath and has appealed for help in her quest to be housed. Clodagh De Róiste first filled out social housing forms in 2001 and approximately 15 years ago, she filled out forms to be transferred to a disability listing. Clodagh says that Meath County Council have refused to urgently house her and refused to transfer her onto a disability listing. Clodagh took to social media to appeal for the public for help as she continues her fight to be housed. Clodagh said the following: "Hi Everyone, "I’m outside Meath County Council offices continuing my peaceful protest to highlight that I am 25 years waiting on housing, that my files were lost, and wrongfully destroyed. "Please join me if you can. I know it’s a horrible, cold, wet, winter day. "I am currently sitting on a chair as my legs are quite bad and so is the pain. "If you are coming, wrap up well & wear a raincoat / bring an umbrella. "Thank you all so much for your support. And please share if you can".

Warning Distressing Images Gardaí and emergency services received reports of an incident involving a number of people at South County Business Park. A man, aged in his 20s, received serious injuries and is being treated at Beaumont Hospital where he remains in a critical condition. Two other males, aged in their 20s, were brought to St Vincent’s Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. A male in his 20s was subsequently arrested and is being detained at a Garda Station in the Dublin Metropolitan Region under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

It comes as The High Court has appointed provisional liquidators to 13 construction companies with several sites, including for approved housing bodies.
