This is from December 2023. Every milestone for 4 years, we make a trailer from the build/milestone. Some serious, some funny.. But I'm going to share some of these bad bois... Episode 1: GTADogs It was Christmas 2023, all of the systems were rough, the game was fun if you REALLLLLY squinted, but had loads of broken parts.. We didn't even have persistent cash at this point, every game was like CS... But nothing beats playing multiplayer games with your friends and thats basically what we were doing. I think it was one of Lossy's first tasks from me.. MAKE ME GTA TRAILER IN WARDOGS WITH NO CAMERA TOOLS OR ANYTHING... AND DO IT NOW. 200 RETWEETS, UNLOCK THE NEXT ONE :) Enjoy.

Lots of press contacting me for a quote trying to make a story so thought I’d just go straight to the players… Being open about development means showing the rough bits too, and I’d rather do that with a joke than a press release. My post wasn’t a crisis. It was a glimpse into what making games actually looks like. For context: it isn’t a weapons manufacturer, it’s being handled privately, and the agency that represent them are nice people… it’s the sort of thing that lands on our desks regularly. What’s changed is scale. Wardogs has made headlines and outperformed some much bigger shooters on Twitch, and that’s drawn a level of attention we hadn’t prepared for. Visibility is how you end up on someone’s list. So please don’t read it as bigger than it is! Anyway, I’m taking off now.. please don’t blow this up. Contact my PR agent if you do.

So proud of the team at BULKHEAD. We survived the last 3 years making this. Making a tactical shooter is hard because corporate publishers and spreadsheet brains still do not get it. Gunplay & ballistics at the foundation of the game matters. Vehicles should be built realistic first, then tuned back later. Publishers still have not understood why Tarkov is fun. Different publishers have burned billions $$$ trying to make an easier version and missed the point completely. Depth is the driver. Persistence is the reason to come back. Wardogs has both. Depth in the moment to moment, persistence in the cash you earn 🔥

Sorry if you’re eager to get into the alpha. We’re just a couple of weeks away and over the next few days we’re going to be adding hundreds of new players per test to help us scale. The downside of the transparency approach is people feel like we’re teasing you constantly. See you in game soon all!
