Part of what makes Milan Momcilovic the best shooter in College Basketball is his ability to create additional separation off of the bounce and then shoot over the top of defenders at 6'8". Per Synergy, Momcilovic shot 49.3% from 3 off of the dribble. These are BIG TIME shots!

I'm not going to act like Justin McBride has a SUPER tight handle. However, after a year where dribbling was REALLY hard for Kentucky, I'll take a 4-man that can do this. Good interior finisher with some physical strength. Better off of the bounce on film than I thought he was.

Complaining about officiating is lame. I hate doing it...but man these (non) calls MATTER!!! Clip 1 - Aberdeen gets shoulder checked to stop transition. Moreno misses layup, called for 3rd foul. UK should have shot 1-and-1. Clip 2 - CLEAR DOUBLE DRIBBLE. Klavzar makes a 3.

One of the issues for Kentucky is that there are few, if any, real answers when an "easy" bucket is needed. If it isn't something that Coach Pope can draw up in a timeout there just isn't a "go-to" option. THIS is what the 'Cats got in response to an Auburn "Kill Shot."

Kentucky simply isn't going to a team that executes in the half court like last season. There can be complaints about recruiting, roster construction, etc. but those ships have sailed. All you can do now is maximize what you have. The 'Cats need MORE of THIS from Mo Dioubate.

I love how fluidly Alex Wilkins operates on the perimeter. You can see his size and length at 6'5". He creates space effortlessly and has no trouble scoring in tight windows. Here you get to see him run some Zoom like he likely will at Kentucky. Excellent ballscreen creator.

Coach Pope talked a lot about wanting to shoot 30+ 3's per game this past season....but Kentucky accomplished that "goal" just five times in 36 games (going 5-0 in those games). If you ACTUALLY want to shoot 30+ 3's then you have to let guys like Mouhamed Dioubate shoot them.

With 2:53 to go in the 1st Half Malachi Moreno was at the free throw line shooting two, down 34-32. He missed both. Kentucky's defense was AWFUL, but they also missed golden opportunities on offense. Moreno 0-2 FT + 0-2 on layups. Chandler 0-2 on OPEN 3's. Oweh missed OPEN J.

Malachi Moreno was VERY impressive at Kentucky's Pro Day. Advanced as a defender, but looked much more comfortable offensively than I would have expected. His passing ability is REAL. Moreno makes two greats passes, both to a cutting Mouhamed Dioubate, in this clip. SKILLED!
